Young and Restless: Location Shoot in Paris

Soap Opera Digest online is reporting that The Young and the Restless will go on its first big location shoot to Paris in October. The storyline and the actors who will accompany the show to Paris have yet to be announced. However, this Y&R viewer believes that it has to do with Sabrina, Victor, and that whole crew. If that does happen, I'm unfortunately sure we would all be susceptible to more French talk. Then again, I could be completely wrong. Nevertheless, I think the show going on location has potential.

So so so so excited for this. Not since B&B went to Australia has a soap gone to a foreign location to shoot. It's been a long time since that was a regular part of daytime because of budgetary reasons. leave it to Y&R to do it as well. They, in my guess, have the highest budget of all the soaps, just have to look at the sets and production values and costumes to see that. Thank god they are not lowering themselves to cheesy CGI effects to make a location shoot look real when it isn't. I have a feeling it's going to be the climax of the Victor/Sabrina story and maybe the revelation that she has been betraying him all along. Hopefully she will fall off the Eiffel Tower. This truly gives me great hopes about what Hogan Sheffer has up his sleeves and the stories to come.

I wish ATWT had the budget for this. But good for Y&R. Paris is a great city.
