Hit cable channel USA is getting into the daytime game. According to The New York Times, USA is adapting Cat Greenleaf’s Talk Stoop for its daytime block. The interview show is currently broadcast in the top nine television markets on NBC.

There are to be three to four vignettes each hour, with each vignette lasting from 10 seconds to 60 seconds. The vignettes, which go by the jargon-y term “short-form content pods” at USA, are to run adjacent to regular commercials.

If you can’t get enough of your favorite New York soap stars in the daytime then the hottest place to find them this summer is in the Hamptons on USA’s Royal Pains. In its first season, As the World Turns’ grad Meredith Hagner was a recurring character and in its already excellent second season Royal Pains has featured One Life to Live’s Florencia Lozano and ATWT’s Marnie Schulenburg.
