Spencer’s (Torian Bellisario) shifty behavior regarding Toby finally made the other girls demand what Spencer was hiding. She revealed how A had been leaving clues for Toby about his mother’s apparent murder.
Toby was upset Spencer broke his confidence, and Spencer was upset he seemed to have too much trust in A. In the end, Toby followed all of A’s clues right to Dr. Palmer’s car. When he tried breaking in, the cops showed up. He had to quickly make a run for it. READ MORE
Dr. Chu announces the baby’s heart rate has dropped, and Maxie worries she passed her heart condition on to the baby. Lulu reminds her the baby isn’t hers biologically, so there’s no way this is her fault.
Dexter (Michael C. Hall) was determined to track down Zach (Sam Underwood) for killing his neighbor Cassie. He was also helping Hannah (Yvonne Strahovski) safely leave the country, but in the meantime, she was tagging along to track Zach.
After finding what he thought was forensic evidence linking Zach to Cassie’s murder, Dexter tracked his credit card to a motel. Dexter and Hannah found Zach’s room empty, but it was prepared in a crude imitation of one of Dexter’s kill rooms. Dexter was touched, but would not let a killer of innocents live. READ MORE
Dr. Obrecht warns Britt to keep quiet, and then takes off out the window. When Dante and Anna break in, they find Britt alone. Anna asks where Liesl is, and informs Britt her mother is wanted for the attack on Duke. Britt asks about evidence, and Anna mentions Duke is awake. Anna explains Britt’s mother has been responsible for a lot of serious offenses. Britt tells Anna to arrest her, or get out. Anna warns she has no problem arresting a pregnant woman.
Britt demands to know why her mother has an empty bottle of Propofol, and accuses her of being responsible for what happened to Duke. Dr. Obrecht finally admits to poisoning Duke. She also mentions she’s done far worse.
Duke clings to life in the hospital, while a devastated Anna sits bedside. She tells Duke she can’t lose him again. Patrick informs her there was no brain or heart trauma, but the tox screen showed high levels of the sedative Propofol.
