Katie Couric may be moving on from her axed talk show, but that didn't stop Katie from hitting a 4-week high in households during the week of December 30. The talk show had its most-watched week since February 2013 and grew 17 percent in total viewers.
Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan have something to celebrate. LIVE with Kelly and Michael was the No. 1 syndicated talk show for the second week in the row among households, total viewers and women 25-54 during the week of December 30. It was also up 26 percent in households year-over-year.
Good Morning America may have topped Today in the ratings for much of 2013, but NBC's morning show wasn't going to let the year end without sticking it to the new No. 1 morning show. Today earned its first weekly win since July 8 among adults 25-54, the week of December 16, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Meanwhile, Deadline is speculating whether GMA's loss to Today can be attributed to GMA's visit to the Vatican. If that was the case, maybe GMA didn't say enough Hail Marys? ABC's morning show still beat Today in total viewers.
