The View Drops 20 Percent Among Women 25-54 This Season

The View ain't so rosy right now at ABC Daytime, at least not when discussing the lineup's marquee chatfest! A new report on the state of daytime from Broadcasting & Cable reveals the 16-year-old talk show has seen significant ratings dips this season. From the report:
This season, The View has declined 7% in households to a 2.6 from a 2.8 and has dropped 20% among women 25-54 to a 1.2 from a 1.5. READ MORE
Broadcasting & Cable Report: "General Hospital Has Seen The Most Improvement of Any Soap"

So far this season, General Hospital has seen the most improvement of any soap, climbing 21% in households to a 2.3 from a 1.9; GH is up 7% among women 25-54, to a 1.6 from a 1.5.

The Young and the Restless was up 18 percent over the same week last year in total viewers, 18 percent among women 25-54 and 17 percent among W18-49. An impressive 4.67 million people tuned in for Y&R the week in question.
Y&R's sister soap, The Bold and the Beautiful was up 18 percent in total viewers, 15 percent among W25-54 and 10 percent among W18-49. Over 3.3 million people watched B&B the week of April 7. Keep reading to find out just how good the entire CBS Daytime lineup did!
