American sweetheart and NBC ratings grabber Betty White joined Twitter on Tuesday. The Hot in Cleveland and former Golden Girls superstar entered the Twitterverse saying,

Hello Twitter! And they said it would never happen. Oh wait, that was me.

By Wednesday morning over 105,000 people had followed the beloved TV icon.  So which celebrity did White tweet first? That would be American Idol host Ryan Seacrest.

Former talk show host Rosie O’Donnell and comedian Dan Aykroyd are set to guest in upcoming episodes of Happily Divorced, according to EW.com. Reportedly, they will pop up in different episodes of the TV Land comedy in May.

O’Donnell will portray Katie O’Grady, “a high school friend of Fran (Fran Drescher) and Judi (Tichina Arnold)."  Meanwhile, Aykroyd is set to play a possible love interest for Fran that her ex-hubby Peter (John Michael Higgins) sets her up with.

Talk show host and mogul in the making, Kelly Ripa has been tapped to emcee the 10th Annual TV Land Awards. Ripa is returning as host for the awards, which will be held in New York City this time around. The TV Land Awards are slated to honor the Queen Of Soul, Aretha Franklin, with their Music Icon Award.
