“We should all try to be comfortable in our own skin and let the animals keep theirs,” said Williams.
Zap2it sheds more light on Williams' reasoning.
"I don't really think that fur is the mark of success anymore," says Williams. "As a decent person, with compassion, it just seems like the right thing to support."

Wendy Williams is putting her money where her mouth is, literally. The daytime talk show host and former Dancing With the Stars competitor has launched a campaign to save “our greatest national icon,” the Twinkie. The treat, which she equates with the Grand Canyon, bald eagle and Statue of Liberty in importance, is manufactured by Hostess Brands, which filed for bankruptcy this month.
Personally, I can’t say I ever really cared for Twinkies or its Hostess siblings Ho Hos, Ding Dongs etc. I always preferred Little Debbie’s Nutty Bars and snack cakes myself. You can ioin Williams’ fight to Save the Twinkie on Facebook and watch her video after the jump!
