Sherri Shepherd will soon be hearing the pitter patter of little feet. The View co-host announced on The Tom Joyner Morning Show she and her husband, Lamar “Sal” Sally have found a surrogate to carry their first child together. Shepherd remarked:

It was all the ladies of The View could do to keep from bursting into fits of giggles, while discussing convicted murderer Jodi Arias earlier this week. Arias deciding to plead for her life—after first stating she wanted the death penalty—by pitching the courtroom on her plans to start a book club, sell a T-shirt and learn Spanish, among other things, had Whoopi and Co. struggling to keep their composure.
The jury deciding whether Arias should receive the death penalty or life in prison for killing her ex-boyfriend Travis Alexander, resumes deliberations today, after previously being unable to reach a unanimous verdict. Watch a clip from The View after the jump!

What an uncomfortable phone call this had to be. TMZ is reporting veteran television journalist and The View co-creator Barbara Walters' daughter, Jacqueline Danforth was arrested yesterday for DUI in Florida.
According to the site, Danforth was arrested near Naples, FL, and released from custody on $1,000 bond. Walters and Danforth's reps have remained mum on the latter's run in with the law.
The View ain't so rosy right now at ABC Daytime, at least not when discussing the lineup's marquee chatfest! A new report on the state of daytime from Broadcasting & Cable reveals the 16-year-old talk show has seen significant ratings dips this season. From the report:
