The Ricki Lake Show
Say goodbye to The Ricki Lake Show — again. Twentieth Television announced the talk show will not receive a second season pick up for 2013-2014. Stephen Brown, executive vice-president of programming, said in a released statement:

The Ricki Lake Show may still be brand new, but drastic changes are already being made behind the scenes. According to Deadline, executive producer Lisa Kridos is leaving the program. Kridos will reportedly go to work at distributor Twentieth Television as a programming and development producer. Gail Steinberg—showrunner for the original Ricki Lake— has taken over.
“Gail will usher in a fresh perspective bringing in an added relevancy, fun and energy to each episode, while showcasing compelling viewpoints to the female focused topics that remain at the core of the new Ricki Lake Show,” Twentieth EVP Programming and Development Stephen Brown said.
