Danielle Staub: "I've Been Called The Susan Lucci of Reality TV"

Poor Susan Lucci. First there was that frustrating streak of Daytime Emmy disses all those years ago; then there was her being the international poster child for a dying daytime once news of her All My Children paycut was broken (Sorry about that one, Suse. My bad!); now comes the latest embarassment for daytime's classiest dame to be unfortunately linked to—Real Housewives of New Jersey castoff Danielle Staub. PC #03: Family, Glitz and Drama: Caroline Manzo Dishes Real Housewives of New Jersey

For Pop Confidential's first celebrity interview, Jamey and Jillian welcome their favorite reality show matriarch, Caroline Manzo from The Real Housewives of New Jersey. The gracious star of the hit Bravo docusoap shares her thoughts and feelings about baby sister/sister-in-law Dina Manzo opting to leave the show, due to the antics of hot mess Danielle Staub. Manzo also lets it be known, in no uncertain terms, how she deals with Staub's made-for-TV madness— by keeping her "invisible".

Manzo then speaks about her love for and fierce devotion to her family, including husband Albert, who recently lost over 100 pounds, daughter Lauren and sons Albie and Chris, the latter two of whom will be appearing on a second Bravo reality series, Millionaire Matchmaker, next season. Manzo reveals how the family is dealing with instant fame, yet doesn't take every opportunity that comes their way just to make a buck.

Manzo also weighs in on the rumors about Kim G. becoming the next New Jersey housewife, reveals how Albert lost the weight and offers how hard it was for her as a mother to see her son Albie in so much pain while taping the episode which airs tonight. PC #02: Zap2it.com's Joseph Kapsch Stops by Pop Confidential

On today's episode of Pop Confidential, Joseph Kapsch, editorial director of Zap2it.com, stops by for a visit with Jamey, Luke, Regan and Jillian. The Fab Four + One weigh in on several of pop culture's biggest stories, such as:

What is it about the Real Housewives franchise that keeps churning out so much drama with a capital "D", not to mention tabloid headlines? From New York to New Jersey, they cover it all. Team Edward fans forced Emma Roberts off Twitter after she revealed she prefers Twlight's Jacob, and you wonder why fan is short for fanatic! Miley vs. Perez. The gossip overlord is in hot water again, this time after posting racy photos of Miley Cyrus. Did she have any "draws" on, or didn't she?

Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart finally jumped the broom. Does this have anything to do with rumors about the next season of Brothers & Sisters being the last? Joseph gives the deets. Glee is done for the season, but with planned books, movies and merchandise, Glee fever has just begun, but could over-the-top stories cause fans to become burned out as they have with past Ryan Murphy serials?

American Idol is down, but is it out? Joseph doesn't think so. While on the topic of musical franchises, Luke and Joseph are gaga over Gaga, while Jamey and Jillian aren't sold. One thing everyone can certainly agree upon, is like, Snoop Dogg, the PC crew and Joseph love themselves some Sookie Stackhouse! Regan, Jillian and the boys gush over the long-anticipated return of True Blood, HBO's brilliant supernatural sudser, as well as the soaptastic Pretty Little Liars on ABC Family. Download this red-hot episode now for all the dish! After you do that, be sure to visit Joseph's site, www.zap2it.com and follow him on Twitter. YOU DECIDE: Best Reality Soap of All-Time!

In order to get a feel of what you guys absolutely can't get enough of in pop culture, we're going to be polling you from time to time. A week ago, I asked you which scripted primetime soap was your all-time fave. Now it's time for the reality dramas or docusoaps as many industry trades like to refer to them.

Whether we love them or hate them, cheaper, easier to produce reality sudsers are here to say. I have to admit, while I detested the genre that was allegedly "killing" my precious scripted soaps for so long, there are now several reality soaps, contests and sitcoms (we'll get to the latter two, i.e. Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica, Survivor, in the coming days) which now have places of honor on my DVR. I've realized deriving guilty pleasure from the exploits of the Kardashians isn't a betrayal to Sue Ellen Ewing. Like JR proved, a boy can have his classy wife, while enjoying the occasional trashy mistress!

Smart, well-written dramas like Mad Men, General Hospital, True Blood and Glee prove there's still room for all. Heck, there's even going to be a docusoap spinoff from a scripted soap this summer with Showtime's The Real L Word (premiering June 20). So what do you guys think?

Which is the best reality soap of all-time?
