The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills
Is a baby with Eddie Cibrian (ex-Matt, The Young and the Restless) in LeAnn Rimes' future? While continuing her publicity tour for Spitfire, Rimes stopped by Chelsea Lately.
Chelsea Handler asked the country crooner if she and Cibrian planned to have children together. Cibrian shares sons with The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Brandi Glanville. Watch Rhimes’ response to Handler's questions after the jump!
Relationship drama has been the source of inspiration for countless singers; it looks like the same is true for LeAnn Rimes. The country warbler sat down with People to talk about her new album Spitfire and the affair with Eddie Cibrian (ex-Matt, The Young and the Restless; ex-Cole, Sunset Beach) which led to the breakup of both their marriages. Here's an excerpt:
The songs on her new album Spitfire, out June 4, chronicle the drama and include an apology to her ex-husband Dean Sheremet. "I broke the sweetest heart of the only man that's ever loved me," she laments in "What Have I Done." She shares the experience of being a mistress in "Borrowed" and offers an olive branch to a woman scorned in "Just a Girl Like You", which many will assume is aimed at Cibrian's ex Brandi Glanville.
For those who may have been living under a rock at the time, back in 2009 Cibrian and Rimes got together while filming the Lifetime movie Northern Lights. Both were married, so of course the celebrity news world lapped up the story's twists and turns like kittens in front of a bowl of cream. READ MORE
Could a former resident of Genoa City be packing up her bags and moving to Beverly? According to TMZ, Carlton Gebbia, wife of StocCross owner, David Gebbia, is joining The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Gebbia, who appeared on The Young and the Restless as Janina in 1999, wouldn’t come out and confirm it, but did the closet thing to it when TMZ caught her out last week. She stated:
I have no comment, I'm sorry. I can't. [If on the show, I would bring] honesty and loyalty. I'm a little bit of a fighter, but I hope they play fair. READ MORE
On a scale of delicious awesomeness, this rumor just might be an eight or a nine. According to Radar Online, former Days of Our Lives star and Celebrity Apprentice contestant Lisa Rinna has been approached to join Bravo's The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Can you imagine Rinna mixing things up with Lisa Vanderpump, my favorite from this last season Yolanda H Foster, the Richards' sisters or Brandi Glanville?
“Lisa would be brought on to the show to stir up sh*t, especially with Brandi and that’s exactly the new life that the show needs!”

When it comes to reality series being inspired by daytime soaps—such as ABC's proposed reality version of General Hospital— it's really a situation of been there, seen that. For the past two decades, unscripted television has borrowed heavily from scripted, serialized daytime dramas. In fact, they've done so with the help of veterans of the daytime soap community! Here are 5 reality series with strong ties to the daytime soap world.
No. 5: Dirty Soap
In 2011, E! debuted this unscripted drama from producers and All My Children alums Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos. Featuring suds stars: Kelly Monaco (Dancing With The Stars, General Hospital, Port Charles), Kirsten Storms (General Hospital, Days of Our Lives) Nadia Bjorlin (Days of Our Lives), Brandon Beemer (The Bold and the Beautiful, Days of Our Lives), John-Paul Lavoisier (One Life to Live), Farah Fath (One Life to Live, Days of Our Lives) and real-life married couple Galen Gering (Days of Our Lives, Passions) and his wife Jenna, DS only ran for one season.
The series did manage to create a new breakout star in Bjorlin's mean-as-hell mama Fary. It also shed light into why Storms and Fath often vacillate back and forth between friends and frenemy status.
Daytime Confidential/Pop Confidential’s Luke, Jamey, Jillian and Regan returned to Sirius XM's The Morning Jolt With Larry Flick Friday, November 5 for two hours of daytime and pop culture dissection with Flick and his partner-in-snark Keith Price.
In the wild first hour, Larry let loose with several comments about General Hospital’s Elizabeth Webber that had Jamey, Luke and Regan howling in defense of their sacred heroine, as DC's lone JaSam fan Jillian cheered. The return of Vanessa Marcil Giovinazzo as Brenda Barrett was also discussed. Does the veteran Billboard writer and radio personality feel the story is limping along like the DC'ers?
The discussion shifted to One Life to Live, the show Larry previously said should be canceled the last time the gang appeared. Has the return of soap superstar Kim Zimmer as Countess Echo di Savoy helped change that opinion? What about All My Children, The Bold and the Beautiful, The Young and the Restless and Days of our Lives? Don't worry, they all get plenty of raunchy, hilarious service!
During the second hour, Larry dives into Pop Confidential territory, taking Luke to task over his dislike of country's current teen queen Taylor Swift. Then, pop culture meets politics as Larry and Keith weigh in on the recent Pop Confidential podcast debate over former President George W. Bush saying Kanye West’ claiming Bush hated black people was the low point of his presidency. If you thought this crew was crazy by themselves, just wait 'til you hear Out Q's most outrageous duo added to the mix! READ MORE
