With just a few days remaining before we start to find out what will happen to Alicia Florrick (Julianna Margulies) during Season 4 of The Good Wife, comes some great casting news. According to EW, West Wing star Stockard Channing has signed on to appear as Alicia’s mother, who is “mercurial and influenced by her 1960s counterculture youth.” Reportedly, Channing will appear in one episode.

What I’m looking forward to most is the renewal of Alicia and Cary’s (Matt Czuchry) uncomfortable relationship as colleagues at Lockhart & Gardner. Alicia represents a judge who is in danger of being disbarred on misconduct charges stemming from his days as a prosecutor. Park guest stars as Lloyd, Judge Cuesta's former co-counsel on the case in question.
