One of the nicest guys in the game, Ignacio Serrichio is helping to get Season 2 of The Bay off to a sexy start! Serrichio is hosting a Season 2 mixer for the webisoap at Busby's East (5364 Wilshire Blvd) in Los Angeles tonight.

Former Port Charles star Rib Hillis, ex-All My Children actress Terri Ivens and former General Hospital star Massi Furlan have joined The Darkside of The Bay. This is the latest offering from the folks that brought you The Bay and Far From The Bay.
Hillis will play Matthew Johnson, a “closeted nurse involved in an illegal escort service.” Ivens will portray a call girl by the name of Orchid. Meanwhile, Furlan has signed on as Anton, the “wingman to the Darkside’s kingpin.”
The producers of popular webisoap The Bay have been on a soap vet casting spree of late. General Hospital, Beverly Hills, 90210, Sunset Beach and Passions alum John Reilly; One Life to Live and Guiding Light's Fiona Hutchinson; Brian Gaskill of Models, Inc., All My Children, Port Charles and Guiding Light fame and Scott Bailey (Saints and Sinners, Guiding Light) have all joined the The Bay franchise!
The bejeweled and bedeviled glamour of DeVanity sparked on the red carpet at the 3rd Annual Indie Soap Awards. Cast members (Michael Caruso, Katie Caprio and Alexis Zibolis pictured with Barbie Caruso above left) of the delicious, web soap walked the red carpet in sizzling style!
The event, held at New World Stages in New York City, featured the casts of such web series as Then We Got Help, Empire, The Bay, Pretty, Ragged Isle, Anacostia and others in attendance. Former One Life to Live, Guiding Light and As the World Turns stars also turned out the Indie Soaps, presented by We Love Soaps and SFNTV.com. Ragged Isle and Pretty came out as top webisoaps, with both snagging three wins respectively at the 3rd Annual Indie Soap Awards, hosted by We Love Soaps last night. The awards featured performances by As The World Turns' Colleen Zenk and featured clips of some of your favorite web series and more.
Ragged Isle won the Best Indie Soap Award (Drama), while Pretty claimed the Best Indie Soap Award (Comedy). Bitch-tastic series, Anacostia scooped up two awards for Best Writing (Drama) and Best Guest Appearance (Drama) for ATWT alum Martha Byrne's ball-busting turn as a madam on the serial.
