Andrea Mordarski thought she was simply taking her family to New York to meet her fave talk show host Bethenny Frankel. The wife of a Ft. Drum soldier, currently stationed in Afghanistan, had written Frankel asking her to videotape a message for her husband Matthew, a big fan of Bethenny.
The Mordarski's definitely got more than they were asking for, when Frankel's producers staged a video reunion for the couple and their kids. JCPenney also provided Andrea with a check for $10,000. The women of The Talk aren’t biting their tongues when it comes to their feelings about rival The View’s revamped panel. During a recent visit to The Howard Stern Show, co-hosts Julie Chen and Sharon Osbourne dissed the ABC Daytime talk show for hiring Jenny McCarthy.

What will former Today host Ann Curry do when her contract with NBC News ends? That is the topic of a report by The Hollywood Reporter, which lays out Curry's options. Reportedly, her representation has let CBS News and other NBC competitors she is interested in talking. Curry's NBC contract window opens up on 2014.
Yhe article mentions there has been no contact with her former Today producer Jeff Zucker, who now helms CNN, or discussions with Al Jazeera America. The story suggests Curry may want to follow Soledad O'Brien's lead.
