Ex-Scientologist Jenna Miscavige Hill gave a shocking account of growing up in the controversial religion on ABC Daytime's The View. During the segment, Hill, who has written a book about her experiences entitled, Beyond Belief: My Secret Life Inside Scientology and My Harrowing Escape, revealed how she only saw her mother twice from the age of 12 until she was 18.

The niece of Scientology leader David Miscavige also talked about having to sign a "billion-year" contract with the church. Watch the interview below!

Television isn’t the same without Regis Philbin gracing the airwaves each day, but it looks like he could return as a talk show host soon. According to Sports Business Daily, Philbin is in talks with Fox Sports to host a The View style sports show.

Fox declined to comment on the rumors, but sources say Philbin would serve as the main host of a show that would look like a sports version of "The View," with Philbin serving in the Barbara Walters role as the part-time host. Philbin is a known sports fan, and sources said the show would be a sports show, as opposed to a hybrid entertainment-and-sports show.

Say goodbye to The Ricki Lake Show — again. Twentieth Television announced the talk show will not receive a second season pick up for 2013-2014. Stephen Brown, executive vice-president of programming, said in a released statement:

We would like to thank Ricki Lake as well as executive producer Gail Steinberg and the entire staff for their work this season. While we are proud of the topics the program tackled including childhood obesity, life-after the military, divorce, and addiction we were simply not able to breakthrough the crowded talk show marketplace. Dr. Phil McGraw is proving Oprah taught him well when it comes to snagging must-see interviews. On today's episode of his No. 1-rated syndie talk show, McGraw will air the first part of an exclusive interview with Ronaiah Tuiasosopo, the mastermind behind the Manti Te'o "catfishing" hoax that shocked America.

Last fall, Notre Dame football player Te'o revealed the back-to-back deaths of his grandmother and girlfriend were fueling his efforts to lead his college team to an undefeated regular season. What Te'o allegedly didn't know was that the "girlfriend" he'd met online, fell in love with over the course a two-year relationship and then grieved for, wasn't a girl at all.
