Good Morning America's Robin Roberts to Pen Memoir

Good Morning America’s Robin Roberts is set to pen a memoir about her inspirational fight against a rare bone marrow and blood disease, according to The Hollywood Reporter.


"I have long admired Robin Roberts’s career and courage and am so honored to be publishing her book," said Jamie Raab, president and publisher of Grand Central, in a statement Wednesday. Sharon Osbourne Rejoins X Factor in U.K.

Family drama hasn't slowed Sharon Osbourne’s career down. Britain’s ITV network has announced The Talk co-host will return to Simon Cowell’s U.K. version of X Factor, in time for its 10th season later on this year.

Osbourne was one of the original judges from 2004-2007. Mrs. O will join Pussycat DollsNicole Scherzinger, former Take That frontman Gary Barlow and music manager Louis Walsh. In a released statement on Osbourne’s return, Cowell remarked:

DC #722: Bubble Guts

Fox-Owned Stations Renew Dr. Oz Through 2017




Hypochondriac, couch potatoes everywhere can breathe a sigh of relief. Broadcasting & Cable is reporting syndicated talker Dr. Oz has been renewed on Fox-owned TV stations through 2017.  

Dr. Oz was picked up by 13 Fox-owned stations in 13 markets, adding seven new markets along the way. From the report:

The new markets include Los Angeles, where the show will switch over from ABC's KABC; Dallas; Houston; Phoenix; Minneapolis; Orlando; and Charlotte. The switch will happen in fall 2014 In all markets where the show is changing stations. Dr. Oz, hosted by Oprah Winfrey protégé and cardiologist Dr. Mehmet Oz, will remain on Fox stations in New York; Chicago; Boston; Philadelphia; Washington, D.C.; and Austin, Texas. Fox did not renew the show in Atlanta, where it currently airs.
