The fight is on to keep primetime bubble shows from, well, bursting. According to TV Guide.com's Matt Mitovich, Privileged, the smart, wholesome dramedy based on Zoey Dean's YA novel How To Teach Filthy Rich Girls has decided to add a little soap sizzle in the form of General Hospital grad Ignacio Serrichio.
While I admittedly made every joke under the message board sun about Serrichio's first stint as dim bulb stalker Diego, his reprisal for last year's Text Message Killer storyline was badass and liquid hot. Serrichio returned to GH a more confident and lethally-sexy actor. Gone were the dopey stares and awkward mumbling, replaced by intense, precision-like delivery and command of a scene that made you hate he didn't have a love interest the second time around.
Although I will never forgive Diego for not ridding Port Charles from Sam and her crotch crickets once and for all, Serrichio's addition to Privileged will definitely have me tuning in. Thanks Megan for the tip!

Grey's Anatomy: There were a few of you asking about the new doctor. When will he be back? Dr. Major McHottie SHOULD be making a brief appearance this week and then next week Major McHottie checks in to Seattle Grace. Melissa George is also checking in as the new bisexual intern. Look for her mid-November. Sad Stuff... they are casting a young boy around 10-years-old who in an upcoming episode is knocking on death's door. This character COULD be around for a few episodes while the story plays out. Counseling session? Not Meredith, although I do love her scenes with the therapist. But this time it's Callie getting the counseling and her therapist is Dr. Sloane so we all know what that means... Callie is getting a little McSteamy lesson on how to treat a woman in bed. Hopefully they've given that little treat some much deserved screentime. McSteamy needs a good storyline STAT! Oh and I must say while I was not a fan of the flood, last week's episode was great! Michael Ausiello at Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Santa Barbara alum John Allen Nelson has been cast on The CW's new show Privileged. According to Mr. Ausiello, John Allen Nelson will be playing the lead character's estranged father.
Santa Barbara fans remember Nelson as the original Warren Lockridge. He also appeared on Loving as Duke. John Allen Nelson's primetime credits make a pretty impressive list. The Edge of Night, CSI:Miami, Vanished, 24 and Burn Notice are only a few credits on his resume.
My DVR was full last night so I didn't get a chance to catch Privileged. I know our girl Tina was planning on tuning in. Did you happen to catch the premiere of Privileged?Tell us what you thought of the new show! Look for John Allen Nelson to show up in November.
