One Life to Live alum Melissa Fumero (pictured above with Chelsea Peretti) stars opposite Andy Samberg, as Amy in Fox’s new comedy Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Fumero was on hand to promote her new show at the Fox 2013 Upfront Presentation on May 13.

The event featured such familiar faces as Christopher Meloni and Greg Kinnear, who will star in Surviving Jack and Rake respectively. On today’s Daytime Confidential podcast Luke Kerr, Jamey Giddens and Jillian Bowe dish about soap operas, talk shows and TV pop culture with Larry Flick and Keith Price on SiriusXM’s The Morning Jolt with Larry Flick.

The DC gang dishes about the bloodbath at The Young and the Restless. Flick weighs in on The Bold and the Beautiful’s summer storyline and the state of Days of our Lives. Jamey Giddens spills some tea about Sean Kanan’s return to GH. The topic turns to the host of new talk shows premiering this fall. Should GH fans be cheering for Katie to succeed?

In the last hour the topic turns to Glee and the primetime Emmy awards this weekend. Larry asks Luke, Jamey and Jillian to predict the winners in each category. Tune in to find out who they chose and then see who was on the money when the Emmy awards are handed out on Sunday.

Former One Life to Live and Gossip Girl star Amanda Setton was among the FOX TV stars who partied at the Fox Summer All Star Party in West Hollywood, CA on July 23. Fox is hitting the fall season running with the early premieres of Glee, Bones, The X Factor and freshman drama The Mob Doctor.  In its announcement, the network revealed The X Factor’s premiere will be split between September 12 and 13. On September 12, The X Factor will debut the first part, with a two-hour premiere. On September 13, the second half of The X Factor’s premiere will provide the lead in for Glee, which makes its Thursday timeslot debut.  Fox veteran Bones will return on September 17 and anchor The Mob Doctor’s debut.

Fans of Fox’s other shows will then have to wait until at least September 25 before any shows return or new series debut.
