Imaginary Bitches

The Secret Circle Showrunners Andrew Miller and Richard Hatem Dish Bewitching Sudser!

One of the most anticipated supernatural sudsers to come down the pike in years is easily The CW's The Secret Circle. Based on the book series from Vampire Diaries scribe L. J. Smith, The Secret Circle revolves around a coven of sexy, teen witches at a prep school. Think: The Craft meets Vampire Diaries.

Richard Hatem (The Gates, Supernatural) and Andrew Miller (Imaginary Bitches) are serving as showrunners on the Kevin Williamson vehicle. TV Addict recently caught up with the pair at Comi-Con to find out about Cassie's (Brittany Robertson) coven (including Days of Our Lives alum Shelley Hennig as Diana) and the mythology of New Salem. Check it out, as well as a teaser from The Secret Circle after the jump! READ MORE

PC Exclusive: Imaginary Bitches Creator Andrew Miller to Pen SyFy Movie/Backdoor Pilot Based on Comic Book Series Ball and Chain!

I'm hearing from reliable sources that Andrew Miller, creator of the 2008 You Tube hit Imaginary Bitches, has been tapped to develop and write a 90-minute movie/back door pilot for the SyFy channel, based on the comic book Ball and Chain by Scott Lobdell.

Described as the comic book world's first romantic comedy when it made its debut, "Ball and Chain centers around a young, hot, fiery couple, who on the night of their break-up are hit by a meteor and receive superpowers— which only work when they're together!"

Miller also recently sold a pitch to the CW. His screenwriting credits include the 1999 Dane Cook flick Simon Sez and Boys and Girls, a 2000 rom com starring Freddie Prinze, Jr., Claire Forlani and Jason Biggs. Miller is married to The Young and the Restless actress Eden Riegel, who also starred in Imaginary Bitches.

DC Interview: Eden Riegel on Bianca's Loyal Fans, Genoa City, Her Wacky, Talented Relatives and Hosting ACME Saturday Night!

They just don't grow soap stars like Eden Riegel anymore. As multi-talented and multi-layered as she is courageous and sexy-smart (think daytime's Tina Fey), the woman who put an unforgettable and inimitable stamp on the role of All My Children's Bianca Montgomery is about to embark on a whole new, soapy chapter.

On April 20, Riegel makes her Genoa City debut as alluring-but-uptight district attorney Heather Stevens, daughter of dutiful private dick Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) and thorn in the side of Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), on CBS Daytime's The Young and the Restless. I caught up with one of Daytime Confidential's favorite stars to discuss her appearance, this weekend, at LA's most soap-friendly sketch comedy and improv spot, READ MORE

DC Exclusive: Lonelygirl15 Heartthrob Jackson Davis Previews Tonight's CSI Appearance

You can't have a conversation about how to make a web series successful without mentioning the monster hits Lonelygirl15 and its spinoff serials KateModern and LG15: The Resistance. Jackson Davis appeared in all three shows as Jonas, even taking center stage in the latter. Now the talented, drop dead gorgeous actor is living the life he could only dream about while growing up in rural Pennsylvania, thanks to his breakout success on the web.

Tonight, however, it's old school TV where you can find Davis, appearing on an episode of the much-watched CBS crime procedural CSI, as a dirty, sexy drug dealer who causes trouble for the crime scene investigators. I caught up with Davis, who revealed why he left the Navy to pursue his dreams of becoming an actor, and how the website Amazon.com played a part in that development. We also talked about his upcoming web series Trauma Team, costarring an actress some of you might be familiar with. Her name is Eden Riegel.

Daytime Confidential:  Tell me a little bit about the character you're playing on tonight's CSI.

Jackson Davis: Well, he is a drug dealer and drug maker, and he and his partner are being kept under surveillance by the CSI team. The title of the episode is "The Panty Sniffer."
