Nickelodeon has tapped former TV Land exec Sal Maniaci as the channel's new senior vice-president of event and original programming. TV Guide is reporting actor/singer Rick Springfield has snagged a role on Hot In Cleveland. According to the site the General Hospital alum will play himself as a new resident of Cleveland. Springfield will mix things up with Jane Leeves' Joy. No word on when the actor's airdate is slated.
Hot In Cleveland airs Wednesdays at 10 pm EST on TV Land.

The soap diva is back! TVLine's Michael Ausiello is reporting Susan Lucci will make a return to TV Land's smash hit Hot in Cleveland. La Lucci will mix it up with former Passions and Chuck star Ryan McPartlin. No word on when Lucci and McPartlin's episode is slated to air.

We all know former General Hospital, Melrose Place and The Bold and the Beautiful star Antonio Sabato Jr. is hot, but now he’s going to be Hot in Cleveland too. According to Soaps in Depth, Sabato will appear on the July 20th episode of the TV Land comedy and shares scenes with Wendie Malick’s Victoria.
