General Hospital fan favorite Carolyn Hennesy will be reprising her role as the delicious, scene-stealing Diane Miller. Hennesy tweeted the news to fans. While I’m ecstatic Hennesy is returning as Diane, I’m still upset that her fantastic True Blood vampire Rosalyn Harris was killed off this summer.
Hennesy also shared her thoughts on the passing of her co-star John Ingle. Read it after the jump! READ MORE
I just love that Julianne Moore! In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the superstar reminded an entertainment journo that her Best Actress in a Miniseries Primetime Emmy nomination—for playing Sarah Palin in HBO's Game Change—isn't Moore's first dance with the golden lady. Said Moore:
"I did win a Daytime Emmy for As the World Turns in 1988," she laughs. "But I couldn't attend the ceremony because I was playing Ophelia in Hamlet at the Guthrie Theater. So they called me up and told me I won!"
Moore played identical half sisters/first cousins (Got that?) Frannie and Sabrina Hughes on the Procter and Gamble serial from 1985-88. She reprised the role of Frannie in 2010, the same year ATWT ended its 54-year run on CBS. It's so refreshing to see an A-lister who isn't afraid to mention her sudsy past. Yeah, Meg Ryan, we're talking to you! Watch a clip of Moore as Oakdale's Frannie and Sabrina after the jump!

Sunday’s True Blood began right where things left off for Sookie (Anna Paquin) and Alcide (Joe Manganiello). They made it to the bedroom while making out. Shirts came off. Alcide growled he’d wanted to do this for “so long.” Then, Sookie got a look of horror on her face, bent over, and threw up all over Alcide’s shoes. As if the mood hadn’t been killed enough already, this was when Bill (Stephen Moyer) and Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) walked in, with the Viking vamp quipping, “Alcide, you sure know how to treat a lady.” When Sookie saw both her exes there, she dry heaved. This week’s True Blood started at the Curl Up & Fry tanning salon. Pam (Kristin Bauer) raced to a searing Tara (Rutina Wesley) and Maker-commanded her to never try suicide again. Needless to say, this made Tara more pissed. Plus, she was very bitter about risking her life for Sookie’s—and getting killed because of it this time. Pam decided to take her new family under her wings, and commanded her to start feeding on pretty, willing humans. She even got her a casket for the daytime, right by her side. Aw! READ MORE
