Expect for ABC to change things up a bit next season, when it comes to scheduling its primetime soaps. According to Deadline, ABC has decided to air “a selected group” of shows in two continuous runs, in the fall and spring.

Some of the networks’ biggest and most buzzed about shows are included in the special group. Scandal, Grey’s Anatomy, Once Upon a Time and possibly Revenge are mentioned in the article. In-between their fall and spring runs, the show’s time slots will be filled by “bridge series.”

On today’s Pop Confidential podcast Jamey Giddens, Luke Kerr, Jillian Bowe and Melodie Aikels have been struck with a severe case of Scandal fever. From Olivia and Fitz’s sizzlin’ relationship to the spurned First Lady, the PC gang discuses it all in this special Scandal Confidential episode.

Scandal isn’t the only hot show the DC crew dishes about on ABC. Miranda Bailey faced an investigation into the deaths of her patients on Grey's Anatomy. Jamey and Luke disagree on Cristina’s storyline.
 
The podcast then becomes Awkward as the gang discuss a surprising death on the MTV series. Brawls erupt in The Real Housewives of New Jersey trailer, but does that have anything on Mariah Carey andNicki Minaj’s feud on American Idol?

Who better to celebrate General Hospital’s 50th Anniversary with than Jackie Zeman? At the Paley Center, the actress, who recently reprised beloved Nurse Bobbie Spencer,  shared her absolute joy over coming back to GH, her thoughts on a potential return for Bobbie's son Lucas and gave her thoughts on Frank Valentini and  Ron Carlivati.

Jackie Zeman: It’s great to be back. I’m happy it’s for the 50th, because that’s a big deal, but under this team is the biggest part of what you just said.  Working with Mr. Valentini and Mr. Carlivati is amazing.  I’ve worked with a lot of executive producers, everyone that has been on GH for 35 years, that’s a lot of EP’s. There is a new energy and revitalization to the show. There’s this respect for what’s gone on in the history, but they’ve taken General Hospital and instead of redoing old stuff, they’ve brought it into the present and into the future with all this exciting intrigue and romance.  It’s compelling once again.  That’s exciting to be a part of. Former All My Children star Jennifer Bassey (ex-Marion Colby Chandler) begins a multi-episode arc on Grey’s Anatomy tonight in “Sleeping Monster.” Bassey recently teased the episodes on Twitter and recounted reuniting with her former AMC co-star Justin Bruening (ex-Jamie Martin).

On tonight’s episode, the investigation into Bailey’s (Chandra Wilson) medical actions strains her relationship with fellow doctors and friends.

Grey’s Anatomy ends the season on another heart pounding note when a super-storm hits Seattle and Grey – Sloan Memorial Hospital.  Will Mer (Ellen Pompeo) and Der’s (Patrick Dempsey) baby weather the storm?  Are we losing yet another cast member?
