Melissa Fumero Readies For Brooklyn Nine-Nine at Fox Upfronts (PHOTOS)

One Life to Live alum Melissa Fumero (pictured above with Chelsea Peretti) stars opposite Andy Samberg, as Amy in Fox’s new comedy Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Fumero was on hand to promote her new show at the Fox 2013 Upfront Presentation on May 13.

The event featured such familiar faces as Christopher Meloni and Greg Kinnear, who will star in Surviving Jack and Rake respectively. Soap Stars Shine on GLAAD Media Awards Red Carpet (PHOTOS)

Current and former soap stars, from The Young and the RestlessMelody Thomas Scott to Days of Our Lives grad Trevor Donovan, walked the red carpet at the 2013 GLAAD Media Awards on April 20 in Los Angeles. Crystal Chappell, The Talk’s Sara Gilbert, cast members from Days of Our Lives, ex-One Life to Live stars, The Bold and the Beautiful's Linsey Godfrey and Guiding Light grad Matt Bomer also celebrated the evening.

Cory Monteith Enters Rehab For Substance Addiction

Life as a celebrity isn't all duets and dance steps for Cory Monteith.  The Glee original cast member has checked himself into rehab for substance addiction, according to People.

The actor "has voluntarily admitted himself to a treatment facility for substance addiction," his rep tells PEOPLE. "He graciously asks for your respect and privacy as he takes the necessary steps towards recovery."

People caught up with Monteith's Glee co-star and girlfriend Lea Michele, who had this to say.  

"I love and support Cory and will stand by him through this," she tells PEOPLE exclusively. "I am grateful and proud he made this decision."   READ MORE

John Stamos Lands Recurring Role on Necessary Roughness


 

John Stamos’ career continues to explode this year. The General Hospital alum has landed a huge recurring role on USA Network's Necessary Roughness. Per Deadline, Stamos will appear in all 10 episodes of the show’s upcoming third season.

Stamos will play, Connor McClane, founder of a huge global entertainment and sports management conglomerate. McClane is determined to get Dr. Dani (Callie Thorne) to join his company after the success she’s had with the New York Hawks and their star player TK (Mehcad Brooks).

NeNe Leakes to Return as Glee’s Coach Roz

NeNe Leakes has been busy with The New Normal and The Real Housewives of Atlanta, but that doesn’t mean we won’t see her on Glee again. When questioned about whether she’d return to Glee, during The New Normal’s Paleyfest 2013 panel, Leakes teased she will be reprising her role as Roz, Zap2it reports.

When will Coach Roz return and what will she be doing? Leakes wasn't quite ready to give away too much, but she did express a great deal of enthusiasm for the role. "I don't know my story yet," Leakes said of her "Glee" role. "I'm Coach Roz. Now what Coach Roz will be doing, I don't know, but she is a dangerous girl. I love Coach Roz, honey. I am obsessed with her. I am so excited to be going to 'Glee'!"
