Have you missed an episode of Empire’s delectable fourth season? If so, you’ll want to catch up before the finale airs on Tuesday, October 16. Even better, you can re-watch all four seasons (43 episodes) of Empire at EmpiretheSeries.com, on blip.tv and via iTunes through October 31, when it will be pulled from the Internet. Never fear though, Empire isn’t going anywhere. This December the web soap will feature “31 Days of Empire” as it prepares to re-release Season 4 in 2013. Guiding Light's Tina Sloan Shines in What May Be Empire's Best Episode to Date

In what may quite possibly be the best episode of Brian Hewson and Gregory Turner's webisoap Empire to date, publishing maven Theodora Crane (Guiding Light's Tina Sloan) painfully recalls her past, while Jake (Toby Levin) learns a shocking secret about his, involving Valerie (As The World Turns' Yvonne Perry).
While I've long been amused by Empire, seeing it as campy, soap spoof fun (Remember that chick chained to the wall?), the webisoap got real this week, which served it in good stead. Bravo to the creators and director Fritz Brekeller (All My Children) ! Watch this week's episode of Empire below.

Webisoap News: Empire is Back, Miss Behave Wraps, The Bay Gets New Executive Producer and Anacostia Sizzles!

The webisoap world is exploding with news! Since I've been a bit busy of late—what with all of the breaking news in daytime—I decided to do a quick post detailing the latest from the world of independent soap operas.
Miss Behave stages a royal send off
Susan Bernhardt's glitzy, teen sudser Miss Behave recently wrapped its run, with the introduction of Santa Barbara and As The World Turns alum Terri Garber as the villainous Queen aka mother of heroine Tori (Days of Our Lives' grad Jillian Clare). In addition to Garber and Clare, the final three episodes of Miss Behave feature past and present soapers: Eric Martsolf and Patrika Darbo.
The sudser's three-part finale was helmed by veteran General Hospital director Scott McKinsey (son of the late, great Beverlee McKinsey). Don't get too weepy about the end of Miss Behave. Several of the characters are being spun off for Bernhardt's upcoming webisioap Reign! Watch the three-part Miss Behave finale below.
ATWT and GL Vets Turn Out For Empire’s Season 4 Premiere

Former As the World Turns co-stars Colleen Zenk and Ellen Dolan and ex-Guiding Light onscreen mother and daughter Orlagh Cassidy and Caitlin Van Zandt (pictured above) were among the soap stars who joined the celebration of Empire’s fourth season premiere.
