After Seeing The Following's Final Chapter, Do You Still Want More?

The Following finale mirrored a season that was full of some highs and lots of lows.  The first half concentrated on the FBI trying to locate Debra (Annie Parisse), who was buried alive.  Joe’s (James Purefoy) followers had left clues, which included a cell phone, so Debra could talk to Ryan (Kevin Bacon) and Mike (Shawn Ashmore).  She tearfully told them Mike was a good man, and her death wasn’t Ryan’s fault. She also wanted them to tell her family she loved them (even her culty rape parents!).

Ryan and Mike were led to the location of her kidnapper’s car, but it was a trap. A follower-sniper opened fire on them.  A gunfight ensued with police, but dozens of bullets missed their targets, before Ryan had the perp in custody.  READ MORE

The Borgias Recap: “Siblings”

Lucrezia (Holliday Grainger) still fretted over whether Giovanni would be accepted into her new marriage, on this week’s episode of The Borgias.  Determined to ensure his sister’s happiness, Cesare (Francois Arnaud) headed to Naples with Alfonso in order to finalize the marriage contract.

All seemed well enough, until the subject of Giovanni was brought up and the king again refused to accept him at court.  Cesare threatened to call off the alliance between Rome and Naples (and by extension, Spain) over this, so instead cautioned the king to think it over and deliver an answer at the wedding.  READ MORE

Olivia and Fitz Rekindle Their Passion, While Huck's Backstory is Revealed on ABC's Scandal

A lot happened on Scandal this week, and yet, a lot didn’t.  This episode was mostly filler, but it did feature some instant “classic” Olitz scenes.  It’d been a while for the star-crossed pair!

With Olivia (Kerry Washington) still in the hospital after her fracas with Jake, Fitz (Tony Goldwyn) sat vigil. Due to his status as President of the United States, the Secret Service had to practically shut down the hospital to accommodate him.   READ MORE

Another Fan Favorite Bites the Dust and Joe Plots His Final Act on Fox's The Following

The penultimate episode of The Following required viewers to throw believability completely out of the window.  It was also rather boring and predictable, until the very shocking end.  Even though it’s not over yet, I’ve have no idea how next season could focus on Joe Carroll (James Purefoy) again.  His whole world has fallen apart.

With the police closing in, Joe put a plan in motion to basically have his followers (the handful he has left) kill themselves for him.  Jacob (Nico Tortorella) was the only acolyte weary of being a human sacrifice. READ MORE

The Borgias Recap: “The Purge”

On this week of The Borgias, Caterina Sforza (Gina McKee) had Rufio (Thure Lindhart) start assembling the bastard and second sons of Rome’s most prominent families.  The men were weary at first, but soon united.  Cesare (Francois Arnaud) and Rodrigo (Jeremy Irons) realized what Caterina was doing with the Get Borgia Gang (hereafter the “GBG”), and decided to subvert them.  The Borgias men also planned to pin Juan’s murder on Caterina.

Cesare, along with his trusty manservant Michelotto (Sean Harris), intimidated various members of the GBG, and as a result, received their confirmation of Caterina’s new plan of attack.  Each member of the GBG had Cardinal relatives.  READ MORE
