Which Medical Hunk Should April Choose on Grey’s Anatomy?

It looks like April (Sarah Drew) will be facing some tough choices and conflicted emotions on Grey’s Anatomy. According to The Hollywood Reporter, she'll soon be struggling with her desire for sex and her decision to wait until marriage before having it again. When Matthew (Justin Bruening, ex-Jamie, All My Children) returns, April has to pick between him and Jackson (Jesse Williams).

"Jackson's not the right guy for her because he doesn't see the world the same way she does and their relationship didn't work because she was feeling guilty for something he never would and that creates a lot of problems," Drew says. "He knows her better than anyone on the planet and they care for each other and he can challenge the way she sees the world, where as Matthew is a complete partnership with how he looks at the world. Both are great and it's a tough choice."

In other Grey’s Anatomy news, TV Guide reports Callie (Sara Ramirez) and Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) are headed for sexytown. According to TV Line, Grey’s Anatomy’s ninth season finale airs on May 16.

Spencer Grammer Joins Blair Underwood in NBC's Ironside Pilot

Former As the World Turns and Greek star Spencer Grammer has landed the female lead in NBC’s pilot Ironside, opposite of One Life to Live grad Blair Underwood, according to Deadline.  Reportedly, Grammer “will play Holly, who stands up to Ironside and everyone else, and would be much higher up in the police department if she would distance herself from the criminals she grew up around.”

Pretty Little Liars Recap: "A dAgerous gAme"

The Season 3 finale of Pretty Little Liars promised lots of answers, but delivered more questions. Spencer (Torian Bellisario) was out of Radley, and instead of being catatonic-crazy, she was more like a Stepford Teen.

Aria (Lucy Hale), Emily (Shay Mitchell) and to a lesser degree Hanna (Ashley Benson), each tried to be understanding because of Toby’s death. The Liars also agreed to attend Spencer’s odd Welcome Home/Congrats on Not Being Crazy party.

The party was a ruse for Team A to lure all the Liars to a cabin, so “Red Coat” could toy with them.  Hanna went undercover as Malcolm’s babysitter. She discovered Spencer had been the friend of Aria’s who’d pretended to be Alison, and kidnapped him last week.  READ MORE

Should NBC Give Deception a Second Season?

Deception, NBC's attempt at a Revenge-esque mystery sudser, aired its season finale Monday night. The serial finally revealed the killer of troubled heiress Vivian Bowers (One Life to Live alum Bree Williamson).

SPOILER ALERT:  It appeared Viv's dad, Robert Bowers (Victor Garber) killed his junkie offspring, who had been trying to expose evil doings by his pharmaceutical conglomerate before her demise.

Viv's BFF, undercover cop Joanna Locasto (Meagan Good) was too busy banging FBI handler Will Moreno (Laz Alonzo)—and Viv's brother Julian (Wes Brown)—all season long to actually solve the crime! Now, according to TV By The Numbers, Jo may never get the chance to bring Papa Bowers to justice, due to the soap's less-than-stellar ratings.

Personally, I enjoyed the sexy, lightweight, interracial thriller. Joanna lacks the get-your-man-at-all-cost professional drive of Scandal's Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington), but she's just as quick as Liv to justify her amoral bedroom antics, which made for some hot love scenes in season one.

NBC did a pisspoor job promoting the serial, which starred two cast members from Oscar winner Argo (Garber and Tate Donovan as eldest Bowers offspring Edward), yet Deception still managed decent numbers. Imagine how the show might have done if it would have had the PR muscle behind that sing-a-long trainwreck Smash?

Deception has all of the elements of a great, long-running sudser. It just needs some fine-tuning, ala a pre-Heather Locklear Melrose Place 1.0. I hope The Peacock allows promising creator Liz Heldens the chance to retool Deception a bit and bring it back next midseason. What do you think?

Who is Pretty Little Liars’ Red Coat?

Pretty Little Liars’ spring finale airs tonight, but will we finally find out who the mysterious Red Coat is? TV Guide teases Red Coat’s revelation to the Liars.

After a season of being taunted and haunted by a mysterious blonde in a crimson jacket, "Red Coat will finally show herself to the girls" Tuesday night, promises executive producer Marlene King of Pretty Little Liars' Season 3 jaw-dropping finale (8/7c, ABC Family), which she says "in many ways goes up in flames."

Meanwhile, Spencer’s (Troian Bellisario) decision to join the A Team rocks the Liars, but why did she do it? Zap2it caught up with Bellisario, who thinks Spencer went to the dark side to find out the truth about Toby (Keegan Allen).

"I think one of the main reasons that Spencer joined the A Team is to find out what happened to Toby and what she can do about it," she continues. "I can say with certitude that come finale time you will know what happened to Toby."
