Wow, that was quite a finale! Unfortunately, I don’t mean that as a compliment. Before I talk about why the Dexter finale quickly earned a spot on my list of Worst Series Finales Ever, let’s talk about the episode.
Elway’s presence prevented Dexter (Michael C. Hall), Hannah (Yvonne Strahovski), and Harrison from making their flight to Argentina. In order to escape, Dexter framed Elway for planting a bomb in the airport by leaving a backpack in the waiting area. READ MORE
The penultimate episode of Dexter was much like the calm before the storm. This was not dissimilar to the denizens of Miami awaiting Hurricane Laura to hit landfall.
Dexter (Michael C. Hall) tried to get his affairs in order and leave before anything bad could happen. Unfortunately, something did. READ MORE

Her husband knew all about Dexter, and threatened to out him. He even sent goons to beat him up, so he'd stay away. Dexter and Hannah still had feelings for each other, and he wanted to rescue her.
