It looks like ABC’s hilarious comedy Cougar Town is having a mid-life crisis. After consuming vats of wine during its first two seasons, when Cougar Town returns next season it will have a new name. According to Zap2it, Cougar Town show runners Bill Lawrence and Kevin Biegel are enlisting the help of fans in renaming their series. One fan suggestion on the table is Friends with Beverages.

Should Cougar Town get a new name?
ABC handed out renewals for six of its popular series Monday. Shonda Rhimes’ Grey’s Anatomy and Private Practice both earned additional seasons, as did the network’s Wednesday comedies Modern Family, The Middle and Cougar Town. Nathan Fillion’s Castle was the other ABC series renewed.
Of some concern to yours truly, was the lack of good news for my favorite Sunday series Desperate Housewives and Brothers & Sisters. Let’s hope we get good news about them soon.

ABC is adapting True Lies for its primetime lineup. Pop Confidential’s Craig gave Easy A four out five stars in his review, but Jamey fell asleep watching it in the theatre.
