Fox’s Raising Hope is one of those TV gems more people need to be watching. Hopefully, this bit of casting news will help pull in more viewers. According to EW.com, Vivica A. Fox has signed on to play Sarah Louise, a church lady who Burt (Garret Dillahunt) goes toe-to-toe with.

Fox’s character is named Sarah Louise and plays a fervent church goer that heads up the Heavenly Helpers committee at church. Sarah Louise’s position is up for election, and Burt decides to throw his hat into the ring against her, with the help of his wacky family, to hilarious results. As a little bit of a tease, the storyline involves a seeing-eye pig.

TV Guide Network announced today that Vivica A. Fox is joining their red carpet Oscar team at this year's show.  She will join Carrie Anna Inaba, Chris Harrison and Lawrence Zarian for this Sunday's telecast of Live at the Academy Awards with Carrie Anne and Chris. It airs at 6 PM EST/3PM PST.

I haven't written much recently about your show on Daytime Confidential because there is so much going on at any given time that it can be hard to get a handle on which areas to focus. This is not a bad thing. You and your head writer Ron Carlivati have fashioned a fast moving, entertaining, and thoroughly engaging hour of daytime television that has catapulted it to the top of ABC's afternoon lineup.
