Jamey! My friend you are slacking where is are Rant, Ratings and Reviews? That is my favorite to read. DOOL has been rebounding nicely the last 2 weeks especially this past week. They didn't TIE GH but beat'em in ratings, so GH is dead last. PLEASSSSSE do another one soon. You and Jillian or Luke should do a pod cast with Rants too and have special guests each week, Michael Logan, Roger from WLS, Larry, etc. even some of DC's long time posters would be quite entertaining and I would love to hear it in podcast. You could also include the ABC Family soaps, web soaps, upcoming story lines ...just a thought my friend. I look for the Rants every week...IMHO. I'm addicted to you guys and the podcast! Even if it is twice a month.

Add in sex, immortality, mystery and the name of an Egyptian god and you have a web series made for TV called Osiris. The series just completed it's mid-season finale and I recommend everyone going to check out the episodes 1 through 5. And let me tell you this series begins with a bang, so you'll want to see it through. So if you are looking for something interesting to look at then check it out.

Let's keep it real. Daytime as we know it on television is coming to a close. All the hope in the world is not going to keeps soaps on TV. So let's just face the facts, the networks should just set an end date for each of the remaining soaps and write them like they have never written them before for the wind-down. Sure Days is on fire right now, but in the long run it won't be around another 10 years and we fans are just biding our time like we are waiting for grandpa to kick the bucket in the nursing home. It's "touch and go" as they say...Touch and go.

So the future of soaps lies on the web. So why not start by taking shows like Anacostia, The Bay, Empire and Venice and put them on something like The Online Network and fund them, which would come at a economical cost. Air them for 15 minutes each episode for up to 5 days a week. The model is sound and good. The amount of capital needed would not even be close to some 65 + million. The actors would be willing to negotiate corresponding contracts. And since each has been tested and proven to be able draw in an audience on its own. Giving them a larger platform and funding security would be an excellent idea. Because it is time to stop looking in the past and start looking toward the future.

There will be a new glory day...A new era of soaps...But they will have new names with new characters and different writers and producers. That is the future. And if we don't adapt to change then we'll be left behind. READ MORE

Oh Sami's confrontation with Marlena and John was excellent. I kept thinking that Marlena was inching to slap her, like old times. But Sami had some points. Marlena has been acting like John is so important that the law should be bent time and time again for him. Now see if this had been a Dimera Bo, Hope and all of them would have been spitting mad if they got any special treatment. Yet the hypocrisy of it all is what makes this show great. I want Sami to slap Marlena. She needs to be taken to task for her hypocrisy. She was silent when Sami called her out. Marlena is being a bitch right now. A subtle one at that and I love it.

And it appears that EJ had something to do with the shooter but not with the kidnapping of Johnny. So this is the twist in it. And remember the guy from the Halloween event? I believe he was the kidnapper. But the shooter strangely looked like Jack. Or was it just me?

On the other hand Jack is up to his old tricks as usual. He is always plotting to try and get back with Jennifer. Great that she called him out.

Found this story on SON and Susan Lucci released a statement on Prospect Park and what is happening to AMC. This BURNS my ASS, SL hasn't even heard from PP since Sept 8 and she wanted to move to the online version. It wasn't about the money or her having her own series, all she wanted was a 1 year guarantee for AMC to basically grow and finding its footing. PP wouldn't commit. She hasn't heard back since before AMC went off the off. This has ABC and Frons fingerprints all over PP...ABC in disguise so fans wouldn't know the truth ...again..just my gut feeling. PP is acting very much like ABC in a lot of ways. Fuck PP and ABC, I'm through personally with the whole situation!!!
