Days of our Lives stars Kristian Alfonso (pictured above), Alison Sweeney, Galen Gering and Lisa Rinna appeared at the NBCUniversal Press Tour All-Star party on January 6, in Pasadena, California.  The event also featured soap alums Tia Carrere, Mark Valley and Matt Bomer. Carrere will appear in the upcoming season of Celebrity Apprentice. Valley stars in NBC’s legal drama Harry’s Law opposite of Kathy Bates, while Bomer leads USA’s White Collar. See more photos from the event after the jump!

It seems like Days of Our Lives' current storylines just got a bit hotter. The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed news The Huffingtoon Post broke two months ago, Lisa Rinna is back at DAYS. Rinna stated:

I have done reality shows, talk shows and I thought, what a great way to come back and play a character that I love to play so much. Feels very full circle -- like a new old chapter.

Rinna's first airdate is March 8.

Will Lisa Rinna return to Days of Our Lives' 2.0? The Huffington Post is reporting the actress is making her way back to Salem in the popular role of Billie Reed. It appears the new writing squad of Marlene Clark Poulter and Darrell Ray Thomas Jr. are hell bent on keeping DAYS thriving by bringing back favorites. According to the site:

Part of the strategy is bringing out the big guns, which includes bringing back Lisa Rinna and Billie Reed.

As of right now, DAYS and Rinna are keeping mum about when she would return to the sudser that made her a household name. Rinna is expected to start taping in December. 

Lisa Rinna may have been fired from Celebrity Apprentice, but the former Days of Our Lives and Melrose Place actresshas something to celebrate. Planet Hollywood Times Square, in New York City, rolled out the red carpet for Rinna’s handprint ceremony on March 29. Check out more photos after the jump!

The claws have come out! Don't expect to see Celebrity Apprentice competitors Star Jones and Lisa Rinna getting their nails done together anytime soon. Donald Trump handed Lisa Rinna a pink slip on last night's Celebrity Apprentice after the ladies failed at their task. Each team was assigned to write a children's book and then take their written words to the stage, putting on a performance for an audience of four and five-year-olds. Despite her resistance, Rinna was selected to be the ladies' project manager. Dionne Warwick and Star Jones were difficult for Rinna to direct and Warwick's flat out refusal to listen to Marlee Matlin, a published children's author, was annoying. In the end, it was Rinna's inability to reign the ladies in, that did her in. What do you guys think. Should the Days of Our Lives and Melrose Place vixen have been trumped by Trump?
