In some fantastic news for the soap opera industry, Days Of Our Lives has been renewed for another two years by NBC. Executive Producer Ken Corday  reportedly announced the news at the sudser's 45th anniversary party on Saturday. The news was confirmed by former DAYS head writer Sheri Anderson via Facebook.

Former General Hospital star Ted King (Lorenzo and Luis Alcazar) is set to guest star on CSI:Miami on February 8, according to Soap Opera Digest.

According to Soap Opera Digest, Guiding Light alum Kurt McKinney is set to join As the World Turns for a short term role. McKinney will portray Ellis, a devious business partner of Craig Montgomery, starting in late February.

Constance Towers is set to reprise her role as super villain Helena Cassadine on the sudser, according to Soap Opera Digest. The actress returns to Port Charles during February Sweeps and will mix it up with Nikolas, Lucky and Elizabeth. What does Helena have up her sleeve this time?

One Life to Live teens dreans Eddie Alderson (Matthew), Kelley Missal (Danielle), and Shenell Edmonds (Destiny) are all slated to appear on Good Morning America on Tues., Feb. 12. The youngsters will take part in the show's annual coat drive.

According to Soap Opera Digest, Beth Maitland will reprise her role as Traci Abbott on The Young and the Restless on December 23, just in time for the holidays.
