Former Guiding Light stars Elizabeth Kiefer, Jennifer Roszeli, Michael O’Leary, Jerry verDorn, Beth Chamberlin, Grant Aleksander and Caitlin Van Zandt reunited at the 8th Annual Daytime Stars & Strikes charity bowling event on October 9. What do you get for helping tank three soap operas in rapid succession? A gig helping finish off a fourth. Soap Opera Network is reporting that former Guiding Light, As The World Turns and All My Children co-head wrier David Kreizman is now writing scripts for General Hospital. I have honestly stopped trying to figure out how the people who run this industry think. Soaps are the only entertainment medium where you're only as good as your last failure.

All My Children star Ricky Paull Goldin (Jake) spoke to the New York Post on the soap opera's heartbreaking last tape date for ABC.

On seeing some of the serial's sets come down:

"It was like a crime scene," says Goldin, who joined "AMC" as Dr. Jake Martin in 2008 after seven years at "Guiding Light" (he also spent some time on "The Young and the Restless"). "I turned around and saw the sets as they were and got choked up and emotional, really for the first time, since it hit me that this was really happening.
