If you loved the four-DVD set of classic As the World Turns episodes and the Christmas in Oakdale DVD released by SoapClassics.com, here is more good news. According to We Love Soaps, SoapClassics.com will release a four-DVD set of classic Guiding Light episodes in mid-January. While all of the episodes included haven’t been revealed, WLS reports Roger Thorpe’s (Michael Zaslow) death and Quint (Michael Tylo) and Nola’s (Lisa Brown) wedding will be among them. The site also teases us with this enticing tidbit.
We can't spoil all the episodes on the disc just yet but fans of Santo Domingo, the Bauer family, personality disorders, fire trucks, the magic of Nick, ex-husbands, singing med students, drunken stepfathers and Irna Phillips will be happy.
Watch Beth Chamberlin in Law & Order: SVU's “Spiraling Down”
By Luke Kerr on December 06, 2011It’s been a long time since I’ve watched Law & Order: SVU, but this week I’m going to make an exception. Not only will I get to see All My Children alum Kelli Giddish and guest star Treat Williams (anyone else still miss Everwood), but more importantly, former Guiding Light star Beth Chamberlin appears in the December 7 episode. I've been looking forward to seeing her in this episode since her appearance was announced in November.
Chamberlin portrays Georgia Stanton, a wife who must deal with the after affects of her husband Jake Stanton (Treat Williams) football injuries and an investigation by the Special Victims Unit when he is busted in an underage hooker sting operation. Watch the promo for the must-see episode “Spiraling Down” after the jump!
