Could Robin Roberts be the next celeb-friendly journalist to attempt a daytime talk show? The Good Morning America anchor tells Broadcasting & Cable no, but that isn't stopping the industry rumor mill from buzzing over talk of another planned GMA spinoff.
From the report:
ABC News has made no secret of its desire to elevate its GMA franchise further. But in a statement to B&C, Roberts said a new show for her is not on the table: "No one is developing any show for me nor are discussions being had to that effect. I am 100% focused on my health and anchoring GMA, now and in the future." READ MORE

What do Billy Bush and Kim Kardashian have in common? The two are both now part of the E! programming family. The Wrap is reporting E! has snapped up Access Hollywood Live, featuring Bush and co-host Kit Hoover. According to the site, E! will begin airing the celebrity entertainment news show daily at 3 pm EST starting June 10. READ MORE

First Impressions: Roger Howarth is General Hospital’s Franco! (PHOTOS)

After weeks of teasing the identity of Roger Howarth’s latest General Hospital character, the truth was finally revealed on Wednesday’s episode. Those closest to the late Jason Morgan were none too pleased to find out the mystery man who invited them to a party on the Haunted Star was the notorious Franco — back from the dead.
Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) first instinct was to whip out a gun. Surprise, surprise. Sam (Kelly Monaco) wanted to know if her husband was still alive. Franco was coy about his twin, but did provide video proof he didn't rape his sister-in-law on her honeymoon.
On the docks, Ava (Maura West) revealed the truth to Kiki (Kristen Alderson) about her father’s identity. Did anyone else wonder if the episode may have been sponsored by Diaper Genie?
