Daytime Confidential EXCLUSIVE: Log on to Strike TV for Greenville General SNEAK PEEK!
By Jamey Giddens on September 05, 2008
Remember a few weeks back when General Hospital script writer Karen Harris gave 200 lucky Daytime Confidential readers an exclusive access code to view her upcoming Strike TV drama Life in General? Well now those same 200 peeps can go on and check out Greenviille General the soap-within-the-soap. Who said Santa Claus only comes once a year? Probably a dirty Commie who doesn't believe in Jesus! DRILL FOR OIL! DRILL FOR OIL! Sorry...someone actually made me watch the Republican National Convention.
Anyhoo, Karen is doggedly trying to get us some additional access codes for those who missed the first opportunity, but those of you who logged on the first time can go back, re-enter your user name and password and voila! Instant Soapy Goodness and low in calories! Hmm, maybe I should sign up for Cooking to Get Lucky? Nah, I'll wait for Cooking to Get Free Xanax. READ MORE

Exclusive "Life in General" SNEAK PEEK for First 200 Daytime Confidential Visitors!!!
By Jamey Giddens on August 23, 2008
God Bless The Net. Video killed the radio star and if this keeps up the Internet will kill the television show - and for the first time in years I don't think that's a bad thing. I just finished watching the sneak peek of General Hospital writer Karen Harris's new web show Life In General and I am blown away with how smart, fast-paced, emotionally resonant and sexy the show managed to be in just its pilot episode.
It is so refreshing to see talented soap stars like Arianne Zucker (Nicole, Days; Winnie, LIG), Lindze Letherman (ex-Georgie, GH; Maddie, LIG) and Scott Clifton (ex-Dillon, GH; Fritz, LIG) hold their own with legends like JoBeth Williams (Mary Kate) and Brynn Thayer (ex-Jenny, OLTL; Rachel, LIG). By Jamey Giddens on July 23, 2008
Fans of All My Children's aborted (would that it were the only thing they aborted!) lesbian supercouple Bianca and Maggie are in for quite a treat on this Friday's All-Eden/All-Elizabeth episode of Imaginary Bitches.
"Andrew was so impressed with Lizzie's comedy in some of the earlier episodes that he said he had to write something to showcase that," Eden Riegel revealed to Luke and I during a podcast interview airing soon.
Riegel's husband Andrew Miller-swell guy that he is-sent Daytime Confidential over the exclusive pic of Eden and Lizzie above from this week's show. We don't know about you, but it looks like a can't miss episode to us!

Daytime Confidential EXCLUSIVE: Catching up With Andrew from "The Fashionista Diaries"
By Jamey Giddens on June 02, 2008
What do you get when you cross one straight male fashion designer-complete with Greek God good looks-with six equally attractive future fashion mavens? A whole lot of drama. At least when recorded (and edited) for posterity and 18-to-34-year-old demos for SOAPnet's Summer 2007 docusoap The Fashionista Diaries.
I recently caught up with Andrew Kanakis, the lone "fashionisto" on the series. The good-natured, Philadelphia-bred Kanakis talked to Daytime Confidential about his experiences on the reality show, including what it was like to compete for a cushy editorial gig, first at the now-defunct Jane magazine and later at CosmoGIRL!, his "will they or won't they" showmance with co-star and then-roommate Bridget Helene, what projects the talented designer has been working on since the show taped its last episode and if there will be a second season of the reality show and how Tyra Banks factored into the equation.
Daytime Confidential: Hey Andrew, how's it going?
Andrew Kanakis: Pretty good man.
DC: Thanks for agreeing to do the interview; I was a big fan of The Fashionista Diaries.
AK: No problem! It's my pleasure.
DC: How did you get selected for the show?
AK: I was bored one day at work and a friend forwarded me an email notice that some producers were holding auditions for a reality show about the fashion industry. READ MORE
