LIVE BLOG: 64th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards

Hello Everyone! Welcome to the hottest live-blog out there for tonight's 64th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards! I will be getting things started shortly here, but in the meantime, I want to hear from you. Drop me a line in the comments on your favorite looks from the red carpet and who you think will come away with an Emmy tonight.

And Awaaaaayyyyy We Go!

We start with the beautiful Zooey Deschanel, Mindy Kaling and a few other ladies are in restroom practicing their glamour faces! There's so many stars in this one y'all. LOVE seeing the phenomenal Kathy Bates put her fist through the door and help a crying Jimmy Kimmel. Jimmy seems to be having a few Botox issues. It's pretty funny. Jimmy isn't sure he can go on with the Emmys and a few men who were all in the running to host pop up and say they can do it.

Kathy and company agree to punch Jimmy's face back in place for him. After, Julia Louis-Dreyfus gets a few hits in and Jimmy is ready. At least, we thought he was. It seems Jimmy forgot his pants. Ellen Degeneres shows up with some pants to save the day.

We head to a few shots from the red carpet and Tina Fey looks FABOOSH! READ MORE

The 39th Annual Daytime Emmys are finally upon us. Who will walk away with a golden statue tonight? Who will be the best dressed? The worst dressed? All those questions and more will be answered tonight during the broadcast!

We will begin the live blog shortly, but in the meantime, drop me a line in the comments on your expectations for the night and of course your favorites to win.

**All Individual Category Wins will appear after this post""

DEAR SOAP GODS: Please don't let this be like last year's hot mess! Aaand AWAY WE GO...

We begin with Anderson Cooper and Oscar the Grouch. I'm not gonna lie y'all; Anderson Cooper is a silver fox! He could get it! Anderson gives us a little run down of what were celebrating, and Oscar is well, being a grouch. He sings a song about why he can't stand Daytime Teleivision. Anderson tells Oscar about all the great things that have happened in daytime, and he begins with Luke and Laura's wedding. Anderson goes on to introduce:

Chad Duell, Nathan Parsons, Chandler Massey and Eddie Alderson! They're presenting the award for:

LIVE BLOGGING: The 38th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards

Hello everyone! My name is Melodie and I'll be live-blogging The 38th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards tonight! We'll begin promptly at 7C/8E. I hope everyone is excited as I am for the program. In the meantime, feel free to drop me a line in the comments about your favorites to win.

And Awwaaayy We Go!

We start with a Wayne Brady package! Since when does he not have any hair? Anywho, the Jabawockeez start the show. I'm guessing it's because they have a show in Vegas. I like them, but it's a little jarring to see them on the Emmys. Wayne just put on a mask and gives us his best dance moves. Now, they hit us with the required Las Vegas package. Moving on.

Insert Sarcasm: Everyone looks so thrilled to be there. Half the doggone on crowd isn't clapping. It's like everyone is like "Ok, let's start this!" So, why did Regis, Meredith and Oprah retiring all get mentioned before One Life to Live and All My Children being cancelled? I would think the shows that have been on for 40+ years should get first mention, but I digress. READ MORE

The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) today announced that Agnes Nixon, the grand dame of Daytime serial drama, will receive the 37th Annual Daytime Entertainment Emmy® Awards Lifetime Achievement Award.
