America's golden girl and former The Bold and the Beautiful star Betty White celebrates her 92nd birthday today. The actress, who has been recognized by Guinness World Records as having the Longest TV Career For An Entertainer (Female), began her profession in the 1930s on radio. To this day, White is still generating laughs on TV Land's Hot In Cleveland.
Parade compiled some of White's best quotes, which includes:
“I’ve always liked older men. They’re just more attractive to me. Of course, at my age there aren’t that many left!”

The good news just keeps rolling in for daytime soaps. General Hospital and Days of our Lives experienced huge grows in ratings, and now, the CBS soaps are following suit.
The Bold and the Beautiful earned its largest weekly audience since February 29, 2008 with 4.14 million viewers. Meanwhile,The Young and the Restless delivered its best week in viewers since January 1, 2010 with 5.47 million viewers.
With everyone experiencing the golden afterglow of this morning's Oscar nominations, I thought it would be a good time to pay tribute to the daytime soap stars (as well as a few from Aussie and Brit daily serials), who have taken home the gold!
Don't expect to find the Daytime Emmy Awards on HLN this year. According to ABC Soaps in Depth, the cable news network made the decision early enough to allow the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) to find another home. HLN's Vice-President and General Manager Albie Hecht told the magazine,
"I just want to put a pause on everything and figure out what we're doing before we make any commitments. Shows like [the Daytime Emmys] need commitments in advance to plan and I don't think we can make that commitment."
