Noelle Beck on Carrie Diaries Role: "My Character is Crazy!"


 

CBS Soaps In Depth is reporting As The World TurnsNoelle Beck has snagged a recurring role on The CW freshman drama The Carrie Diaries. According to the magazine’s site, Beck will play Sebastian’s (Austin Butler) mother, Ginny, starting tonight. Beck joked:

My character is crazy!" Beck laughs. "I would never talk to my kids this way. So funny! It's all about Ginny.


The Carrie Diaries airs Mondays at 8 PM EST on The CW.

Austin Peck Joins Tainted Dreams

As the World Turns, Days of Our Lives and One Life to Live alum Austin Peck has joined the cast of Tainted Dreams. According to the web series' character list,

Austin Peck is set take on the role of “Max,” a sexy, self-absorbed, womanizing, soap star in “Tainted Dreams,” a new, scripted “soap within a soap” set to blow the lid off the behind-the-scenes shenanigans of producing a daily soap opera.

Tom Pelphrey Celebrates Premiere of 'Junction' (PHOTOS and TRAILER)

Former Guiding Light and As the World Turns star Tom Pelphrey celebrated the premiere of his new film Junction with former All My Children star Natalie Hall (pictured above with Pelphrey) on March 3 in New York City.  The film will be a part of the 2013 Soho International Film Festival. Noelle Beck Lands Role on The Carrie Diaries

As the World Turns alum Noelle Beck (ex-Lily Snyder) has been cast as Sebastian’s (Austin Butler) mother Ginny on The Carrie Diaries, according to TVLine.  Reportedly, the character is a “sometimes absentee mother Ginny, a woman who flits in and out of her son’s life and isn’t afraid to share the intimate details of her romantic life with him.”

Beck played Br. Big’s (Chris Noth) first wife Barbara on Sex and the City.

As the World Turns Grad Peyton List Joins The Tomorrow People

Former As the World Turns star Peyton List (ex-Lucy Montgomery) has signed on to The CW pilot The Tomorrow People, according to Deadline.  Reportedly, List will portray Cara, a female member of “Tomorrow People.”

Tomorrow People is in the vein of X-Men and Heroes and revolves around several young people from around the world who represent the next stage in human evolution, possessing special powers, including the ability to teleport and communicate with each other telepathically. Together they work to defeat the forces of evil.

Since exiting ATWT, List has appeared on such shows as Smallville, Mad Men, Flash Forward and 90210.
