Save the Quartermaines, Save Port Charles Contest

This is your chance to explore your fantasy of being General Hospital's head writer!

We want to hear how you would save the Quartermaine family from extinction so we've set up a contest.

Be sure to check out the rules but the winner of the Save the Quartermaine Storyline Contest will be brought on as a guest of the Daytime Confidential podcast to talk about the Quartermaine family, and their winning submission.

Save the Quartermaines Contest Rules

I. One submission per person.  (email in submissions to savethequartermaines @ daytimeconfidential.com and in the subject line inlude "Save the Q's"

II. 1000 words or less

III. You have to pick it up with current General Hospital history (i.e. if you want to bring AJ back into the storyline, you must explain his return).

IV. You can not kill off a member of the Quartermaine Family, or members by extension

V. Do not SORASED current characters, if you introduce a new character you can age them as you deem necessary to your story within parameters of current General Hospital history.

VI. Your submission in the form of a detailed outline, story, narrative or script.

VII. Keep it a workable premise, as workable as General Hospital is.

VIII. Any submission becomes the property of DaytimeConfidential.com and TV Fan Online Inc. We reserve to right use it as promotion and submission to TPTB

IX. All authors will be credited

X. Please keep it clean, no NC-17. A love story is fine, even love scenes, nothing x-rated.

XI. We’re looking for a front burner storyline for the Quartermaine Family not a re-write of General Hospital. Original Ideas Only.

XII. Professional writers or writer's who have an exclusive copy right contract with any other site, organization, company are excluded.

XIII. All submissions should be recieved no later than 11:59 p.m. February 26, 2008. The winner will be announced on the Daytime Confidential podcast on March 3, 2008 and will be a guest of the podcast soon after.
