Eeew, has anyone seen what Luke Perry looks like nowadays- tell him to get some botox on that forehead before showing up on TV again!

The only problem w/ this story line is that Dylan would never be absent in his son's life. My memory is a little foggy but remember that little girl who was thought to be Dylan's half sister. He loved that little girl and did his best to take care of her, so why wouldn't he do the same for his son. BTW, I haven't watched this show yet but does Dylan know he's the father?

I've been watching and I can't remember if it was revealed that Sammy's dad knows about him. 

I was on Team Brandon but I knew it was going to be Dylan's because Brandon Walsh would have never left his family!
I cannot remember if Sammy knows or not about his dad. I am still in awe that Ethan is considered the most popular, good looking guy in school. I think the kids at West Beverly need to get their eyes checked!

I am torn...I LOVED Brandon and Kelly, it was my favorite pairing for either character, but making Dylan the father was the smartest thing to do in terms of using the original show to help make the new show a hit. Brenda/Dylan/Kelly was the biggest storyline for the first 90210, so the chance of Luke one day reprising his role with both Shannen and Jennie possibly would probably set new ratings records for The CW.

I was a Brenda-Dylan fan so while I like the idea of the triangle being revisited, it's not going to end up the way I would want it to.

I still think Jason Priestley would also be a great hit. He was on that lifetime series and he did an ABC Family movie which he was great in. I also think that Jason has aged SO much better then Luke Perry (luke's forehead has gotten bigger over the years!) I always thought Dylan/Brenda had more chemistry then Dylan/Kelly. I do not think Luke Perry has been interested in doing the new show and Jason Priestley stated that he would like directing it which would be a great tool to get him back.

Sorry...I'm rambling.

See I thought it would be Brandon too especially since JP expressed an interest in directing. And while IMO, it is more characteristic of Dylan to leave is child behind than Brandon, there is always a way to explain it away. He has a political career... or something... or he works for a major publication that has him travelling all over the world.

Yeh hrfmom I voted for Brando as well. But knew darn well from the way Kelly talked that it was Dylan. I can't remember if Sammy knows either. As for Ethan, I have no idea, maybe it's all in his uh...package?? What's her name was giving him a start to a great morning in the first ep...so who knows. LOL!!

Yeh I loved that show, Side Order of Life...I was so ticked off when it got canceled....we'll never know what happened between her and cell phone man. LOL Ok back to Brandon....
Yeh I'd love to see Jason back on 90210, I know Luke won't reprise but maybe Jason would. It's cool that we have Kelly and Davids sis on and also Andreas and Jesses daughter....so maybe we'll hopefully see David????? And maybe David? From watching last night, Donna had a baby, I wonder if she and David are still married? I'm so curious!!

I'm glad that I'm not in the minority here. I was a HUGE Brandon/Kelly fan, but it would cause much more drama for Dylan to be the father...

I LOVED Brandon and Kelly together, out of all of her pairings they were my fave, I also liked her with uh....the lawyer guy, I can't believe I forgot his name.........MATT! LOL

Wait! Wasn't it next to impossibly for Kelly to have children? Didn't she miscarry her and Brandon's child because of it? I know miracles can happen but have they mentioned it at all?

I hate it! It was always supposed to be Brandon & Kelly and Brenda & Dylan, that's how the original series should have ended and that's where this series should have picked up!!!!! I knew this was coming though because there's no way in the world Brandon Walsh would ever leave his son or Kelly if he knew she was pregnant for that matter.

Yeh I remember that Season....and not really that they've implied (???) but it would appear that Sammy is an accident or else I'd save invitro?? So maybe he was a nice suprise and she could get pregnant afterall aka rewriting history, although it's happened before IRL....guess we'll find out as 90210 goes on, I'm sure.

Kelly was not able to have children and no, it has not be mentioned. She did say that an old high school flame came in town 4 years ago and one night it happened. I think that was in the pilot.

The new writers for this stupid show don't know their 90210 history. Dylan became a freakin aloholic because his mother left him at age 6. He lost his father first to prison than believed him to be dead. And Dylan went so far as to try avenge his father's death. Then when he found out his father was alive, he did everything in his power to be with his father even hiring a security company so his father could be out of witness protection to be with him. There is no way Dylan would not be in his son's life. Also Dylan went all the way to Mexico to rescue his half sister. That's why I hate this new 90210. Spitting on history like that.

Also in the pilot Kelly did tell that 12 year old teacher that Sammy's father was an old high school flame that she started up a romance with again. Dylan was no high school romance. Kelly and Dylan didnt get together until 12th grade and broke up their freshman year in college.
