I don't know about you, but I haven't seen much information regarding the upcoming summer storylines for Days of Our Lives. Thank goodness one smart person has been paying attention, and posted this promo on youtube.
With a tagline of 'an all-American summer of romance' it looks as though we might be in for some Stax luv (Max and Stephanie), a storyline involving newly paired Lucas and Chloe (Chucas? Chlocas?), a budding romance between Philip and Morgan, and some fun for long-time fan favorites Bo and Hope. Nicole, EJ and Sami feature in the promo also, and maybe with Lucas' attention directed elsewhere, this will be the summer's love triangle.

It's about time a network really promotes soaps. Days needs this and I'm glad to see they go something besides the cheap ones ABC and CBS pump out, this really promotes the show and not just a storyline, and if anything Days needs a true promotion from the network that has threatened to murder it. lol. Just had to be dramatic.
I like how all the soaps are filtering in location shots now, it's nice to see.

I know! How good was it to see the actors out of the studio? I wish they could do more scenes on location.

How great it was to see a promo shot on location that spells out the summer scenarios and possible couplings. DOOL has only improved since Sheffer left, albeit I am sure he was under constant network and producer scrutiny. I am watching the show, loving Nicole, Chloe, the Max Brady mystery even when I used to FF through all of his scenes. Maybe NBC isn't giving up on this show, maybe it wants to lure viewers back and see how true to the history of the show and characters it is becoming again. Why would they shell out the money to make this promo if they want out of the soap business? I love it and am looking forward to what they have in store for a all-American summer.
