The 84th Annual Academy Awards served up a number of expected wins and a couple of surprises. Billy Crystal returned as host, Cirque du Soleil performed and the show suffered countless audio problems. William Joyce and Brandon Oldenburg, two “swamp rats from Louisiana,” provided one of the more humorous acceptance speeches.
