Soap fans love their couples and we here at Daytime Confidential are no exception. The moment news broke that Starr Manning (Kristen Alderson) is on her way to Port Charles my DC podcast co-host Regan Cellura and I began discussing which GH'er we’d like to see her paired with.
Regan doesn’t want to see a Michael (Chad Duell) and Starr pairing, but I think the idea is intriguing. Primarily, because of the drama it would create between their parents. Then we started thinking of other GH characters Starr could be paired with. Johnny (Brandon Barash) and Starr immediately jumped to mind. Our discussion continued, with names such as Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) and Matt (Jason Cook) popping up. It will be interesting to see how Ron Carlivati works Starr into Port Charles, but we’d love to hear your thoughts!

The Sonny and Starr thing is gross, and I have to agree giogio, they're not funny. Maurice Benard has a daughter around the same age as Kristen, he would quit before he'd have to do that and the writers aren't that twisted. I don't like Michael but he's the only one in Starr's age range that would be suitable to pair up with her, I don't know how they are going to figure in Hope in Starr's stories, but he's way too immature and too much of a John Gotti jr. wannabe to be involved with someone with a young child, plus Michael and Johnny seem to be into cougars lol

Okay, who in the world is Kristen Alderson and why is she coming to GH? I have never watched OLTL and have no desire to see an oversaturation of OLTL actors to GH especially at an an expense of someone at GH. So it is okay to fire Lexi and then turn around and hire Kristen? zunfudgeunbeliavable. I can understand Ted King coming back to GH as he has roots on the show.

@Dyllan - Kelly Missal (Danielle) is a very good actress.
Kristen Alderson is decent, but she was indeed left in the dust on a daily basis by Kelley Missal and this past week by both Meghann Fahy(Hannah) and Van Hughes(NuCole, who was exponentially better in the role than Brandon Buddy and would've made me actually miss Cole when he was shipped off had he been playing him back then.)

Starr and Michael have Romeo and Juliet potential with neither one of their families wanting them together but still having them drawn to each other in the process overcoming obstacles to be together like Carly, Sonny, Todd and Blair
Molly would make a great babysitter for Starr's daughter Hope
Todd and Sonny can have a confrontation over Starr and Michael
Blair and Carly can also have that same confrontation

I think you all are totally missing the mark. There is only one man on GH with whom Starr would be a natural match. Their spiritual and sexual chemistry would be unmatched. They would immediately be proclaimed the best supercouple in soap history. That man is Edward Quartermane

It might be interesting to see Starr with Johnny, but he has shown a penchant for older women, so I don't think he would like this whiny teenager any more that he did Kristina.
If she could clean-up Spinelli's act, that might work out OK, but she'd probably be just as annoying as he is.
I see nothing coming of a Matt/Starr pairing. He should stay with Maxie/Kirsten Storms when she returns.
I'm sure they will pair her with Michael...if they do, maybe they will both stink so much together they will be written off the show. Don't like either one of them!

I agree that Micheal and Starr would make an interesting romantic pairing. They sure as hell could bond over their 'fathers'. I also think Spinelli and Starr would make an awesome dynamic duo (non-romantic). Think of all the mischief those two can reek.

I know it won't happen but I want her to stay single. I wouldn't mind her with Michael though. They have a lot in common, both come from a dysfunctional family and are attracted to danger. Michael is just the type of guy that Starr goes for and he's age appropriate for her unlike Johnny (I don't think she would date Spinelli or Matt since they are not emotionally unstable with a violent side).
I thought she was terrible, her acting mainly consisted of screeching and yelling.

I can not wait til Starr hit PC. As well as Blair and Todd and John. Inlike some I dont think its bringing GH down I think it will help lift the ratings lets remember that OLTL had better ratings than GH. Alot of that was Because the Mannings. I hope they pair Starr with Micheal. Both have had to grow up fast and know what its like coming from a not so normal family. I would love it if they brought Eddie on as Morgan as long as they dont try to involve him with starr now that would be gross. I just cant wait and after watching the promo I know its going to be great.
