Soap fans love their couples and we here at Daytime Confidential are no exception. The moment news broke that Starr Manning (Kristen Alderson) is on her way to Port Charles my DC podcast co-host Regan Cellura and I began discussing which GH'er we’d like to see her paired with.
Regan doesn’t want to see a Michael (Chad Duell) and Starr pairing, but I think the idea is intriguing. Primarily, because of the drama it would create between their parents. Then we started thinking of other GH characters Starr could be paired with. Johnny (Brandon Barash) and Starr immediately jumped to mind. Our discussion continued, with names such as Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) and Matt (Jason Cook) popping up. It will be interesting to see how Ron Carlivati works Starr into Port Charles, but we’d love to hear your thoughts!

It's pretty ridic for her to be paired w/anyone because she shouldn't be in Port Charles, she should be in Ireland w/Cole Thornhart, who she just admitted loving and her daughter Hope. Not shtuping a mobster, the son of mobster, a crappy excuse for a doctor or the worst and most annoying character to infiltrate this soap in the last decade.

Honestly, Kristen Alderson is one of the worst actresses in daytime and I wouldn't wish her on anyone. I was hoping and praying that they would recast her. I can't believe she is coming over. The actress who played Daniella was way better.

I just don't think Kristen Alderson is a very good actress, sorry. She was best as a supporting player during The Tale of Two Todds. Starr Manning was ruined the moment she was forntburnered, saddled with a poor 'Romeo & Juliet' knock-off romance and a child before 20 years of age! I really enjoyed Starr when she was six but Kristen Alderson cannot drive story or effectively emote. Her attempting to cry this past week on OLTL was cringe-worthy. The gentleman who played James out-acted her in today's episode. The actors that played Crazy Hannah and the recast of Cole acted circles around the poor girl. I suspect that when Starr gets to Port Charles she will be paired up with Michael. What else is there to do with her? I hope that she mainly counsels her far more interesting parents.
@Dyllan - Kelly Missal (Danielle) is a very good actress.

Starr & Ethan as a couple, that would certainly be very unique and interesting especially since Ethan is Luke's son and considering Starr is Todd's daughter, Luke and Todd would then interact, and then Ethan he can actually bond with Starr's daughter Hope considering Ethan has 2 nephews Cameron and Aiden, so Ethan would bond with Hope almost right away and Starr would then interact with Luke, Lulu, Lucky, etc.
Or Starr & Johnny imagine if they became a couple
Anthony Zacchara and Todd Manning would interact, and Todd would definitely not want Johnny with his daughter and Anthony would not want John with Starr Manning of all people
Anthony would even try to kill Starr
Not to mention Starr would interact with Anthony Z if her & Johnny became a couple
And Blair would interact with Anthony as well
But Starr her best option right now would be being with Michael Corinthos III in terms of storyline-wise

The most obvious choice is CD's Michael. All of the others are too
"mature" from a chronological standpoint as well as "life experience". (Even though she is a parent to a young daughter.) If Spinelli were 5-7 years younger it might work, but as currently written he has no real
"family"/core ties in PC that would play out for story. If NP is leaving as rumored that pairing would be a non-starter...

I, too, would like to cosign alexisfan's quote. Pairing Starr with anyone older than Michael would be crazy, IMO, when you kick off a stellar actress because she isn't old enough (read: sexy) to play these guys' love interests.

One more OLTL character that I would love to see on General Hospital from One Life to Live is Aubrey Wentworth/Christine Karr, Terri Conn in General Hospital because I believe that if Aubrey the character of Aubrey that is came to Port Charles to start over again, Aubrey can really make a life for herself in Port Charles starting anew somewhere else away from the memories of Joey and Rex, and with Aubrey in PC, she can find real true love here with any one of the men like Lucky, Jason, Ethan, Johnny, Steve, you name it the list goes on, not to mention I love Terri Conn
Aubrey is an ex-gold digger, ex-con artist, so with her in Port Charles Aubrey can work at Kelly's or even at the Metro Court Hotel
Aubrey and Carly look so much alike, what if Aubrey is Carly's half-sister on her dad John Durant's side of the family, John could have had another daughter and that daughter being Aubrey
Not to mention Aubrey has some similarities to a young Carly

I'm not voting for any of these men because I don't want to see her with any of them. She's only 18, maybe 19 now so she's way too young to be involved with Spinelli (late 20's), Johnny (30+) or Matt (35+) and Michael at 19 is totally messed up and was just in a relationship with a woman more than 10 years his senior. Ethan is closer to her age than any of the men listed but I don't think he's her type and NP is leaving the show. This is the same problem we had when Kristina was on the canvas and in the same age group. Other than Michael there are no young male adults on the canvas.
