Lauren (Tracey Bregman) arrived at Jamie’s (Daniel Polo) hospital room, where Michael (Christian LeBlanc) had been watching over him. She didn’t believe Fen (Max Ehrich) was responsible for Jamie's fall. After Michael left to freshen up at home, Jamie woke up briefly, and uttered Fen’s name. When Lauren asked him why he said Fen’s name, Jamie fell back to sleep in his hospital bed.  Lauren continued to be in denial about Fen’s behavior or possible involvement in the crime. Michael (Christian LeBlanc), Lauren (Tracey Bregman) and Paul (Doug Davidson) confronted Fen (Max Ehrich) about  his behavior towards Jamie (Daniel Polo) and Summer (Haley King). Fen told his parents off, before storming out of their home. I really like Ehrich as Fen. Is Carmine (Marco Dapper) trying to turn Lauren (Tracy Bregman) into a lush or get into her pants? I really like the idea of him hitting on her. I would love to see Lauren get a little action, other than being Michael’s (Christian LeBlanc) talk-to and Fen's (Max Ehrich) mother hen. The possibility of Lauren and Carmine hitting the sheets—even if it is just a one-time thing—reminds me of how hot Emily (Kelley Menighan Hensley) and Casey (Billy Magnussen) were on As the World Turns. The teen schemer is still blazing mad about the affair her mother carried on with FBI Agent Ronan Malloy. (Jeff Branson) She decides it's time he gets some payback by way of his mentee, Jamie (Daniel Polo).
 
TV Guide Magazine’s Michael Logan spoke with head writer Josh Griffith and got the skinny on Summer's quest take down Ronan.

Summer is in such a screwed-up state over the divorce of her parents that she misguidedly decides to hurt Ronan by hurting this kid he cares so much about," says the soap's Emmy-winning head writer Josh Griffith. "She uses her phony online persona called 'Brittni' to form a relationship with Jamie and draw information out of him — deeply personal and hurtful stuff about his past troubles with the law — and then she blasts it out to everyone on FacePlace. She'll also be using texting and instant messaging to disparage him further.
