Score another one for Brad Bell. According to TV Guide's Michael Logan, The Bold and the Beautiful has scooped up The Young and the Restless' Tonya Lee Williams. According to the magazine, Williams will play her Y&R character who just happens to be cousins with B&B's Justin Barber (Aaron D. Spears) Williams stated:
Apparently [B&B exec producer] Brad Bell had this idea back when he named Aaron's character — he just didn't let any of us know about it. We're just actors. Who knows what goes on behind the veil of Oz?
The Daytime Confidential crew always wondered if Justin would be related to those Barber sisters. Well played Brad.. Williams is headed to B&B on Feb. 1 and 2.
That’s great because fans have been worried. Your film festival celebrates diversity whereas Y&R isn’t so diverse anymore.
No. And you know, [head writer Maria Bell], addressed it with me. She said “I want to get that black storyline up and pumping again."
