Get a Peek at Roger Howarth, Kristen Alderson and Michael Easton in Their New General Hospital Roles! (VIDEO)By Jillian Bowe on May 06, 2013
Say goodbye to the so-called Llanview Three and hello to Port Charles' newest residents! Sort of.
In this week’s SOAPnet promo for General Hospital, Roger Howarth, Kristen Alderson and Michael Easton return to PC as new characters with new looks. Meanwhile, Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Shawn (Sean Blakemore) turn Crimson's offices into the O.K. Corral.
Secrets abound in Port Charles, but what lines will Ellie (Emily Wilson), Sabrina (Teresa Castillo) and Felix (Marc Samuel) be willing to cross to get to the truth? Ellie digs into Maxie’s (Kirsten Storms) baby secret, while Sabrina and Felix try to prove Britt (Kelly Thiebauld) isn’t pregnant with Patrick’s (Jason Thompson) baby. Watch the General Hospital promo after the jump!
In case you missed the initial batch of red-hot photos from General Hospital’s Paley Center celebration, we’ve dug up additional shots from the red carpet! Daytime Confidential’s Regan Cellura interviewed Teresa Castillo on her “dream role” and chatted with Marc Samuel about his “overwhelm-azing” time on GH.
Be sure to check back throughout the week for more interviews with GH favorites. For more pics, keep reading!
Student nurse Sabrina Santiago barrelled into Port Charles General Hospital, a mess of hair, thick-rimmed glasses and nervous energy. However, at the recent Nurses Ball, this quirky duckling transformed into quite the magnificent swan, securing Dr. Patrick Drake's (Jason Thompson) heart in the process!
Being gorgeous both inside and out is a trait the new R.N. shares with her portrayer Teresa Castillo. I had the pleasure of chatting up the break-out star at the Paley Center's recent celebration of General Hospital's 50th Anniversary. Castillo shares how much she is enjoying her time in Port Chuck, the friendships she's developed, and dished on what she and best pal Felix (Marc Samuel) will be up to in their battle against Dr. Britch (Kelly Thiebaud).
Daytime Confidential: This all has to be pretty exciting for you?
Teresa Castillo: I feel like I’m dreaming right now.
DC: General Hospital’s 50th Anniversary, all of this and this is your first role on a soap opera, right?
TC: It is, it is! I had seen soaps before, but I had no idea what I was getting into with the shooting schedule. It’s challenging, a little bit, to get the hang of it, the flow of it all, but I feel like I finally settled in.
DC: Well you’re not just settled in, you’re in a great love triangle! Pretty great for your first soap role?
TC: I’m having a blast; I really am.
DC: It’s wonderful when you love what you’re doing. It shows on screen with you.
TC: Thank you, you couldn’t ask for anything more, right? To be able to do what you love for a living and have other people enjoy it as well. It’s just so fulfilling and I’m so thankful. READ MORE
Few characters on television right now are better with the turn of a phrase than Felix Dubois, R.N. on General Hospital. I spoke with Felix's potrayer, Marc Samuel, at the recent Paley Center event celebrating General Hospital's 50th anniversary. I quickly learned the man behind Felix is just as fierce and funny as the character he plays.
Samuel shares how Felix will continue to have his girl Sabrina's (Teresa Castillo) back, as she battles evil Dr. Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) for Dr. Patrick Drake (Jason Thompson) and addressed questions surrounding Felix's own love life. Could a new man be on the horizon for the fabulous Mr. Felix?
Daytime Confidential: We're loving Felix!
Marc Samuel: I gotta tell you, it’s awesome. You’re allowed to say what you want. Well, what’s written, but the way you want to… You know what I mean?
DC: A little improvising never hurt anybody.
MS: That’s true and they seem to like it, they’re ok with it.
DC: I just spoke with Teresa Castillo (Sabrina) and it looks like Felix is going to be helping his girl out; proving that Britt is a liar.
MS: Oh, absolutely! Felix has Sabrina’s back. They’re as thick as thieves; that’s his girl. READ MORE
