The first of Agnes Nixon's sudsers to ever hit the airwaves resumed production this week. To say the cast and crew of One Life to Live are excited about the reboot, would be on par with saying Viki Lord had a slight touch of mental problems over the years.

In the March 25 issue of Soap Opera Digest, Erika Slezak praised the soap's new brass. Said Llanview's grande dame:

"I have ultimate faith in [Co-Head Writer] Susan Horgan," Slezak stated. "Jen Pepperman, who started with the show many, many years ago, is, I think, a brilliant choice for executive producer because she knows the show, she knows the medium so well, and she's a smart cookie. I think we're in great shape, I really do."

RUMOR REPORT: Thom Racina and Susie Bedsow Horgan to Pen New One Life to Live?

 



Has Prospect Park found the writing team to bring One Life to Live back to life? Rumors are swirling that former OLTL executive producer Susie Bedsow Horgan has revealed via Facebook that she and veteran soap scribe Thom Racina have been tapped to co-head write the sudser's online version. I'm running this as a RUMOR REPORT, as I am not a friend on Horgan's profile.

According to Horgan's LinkedIn profile, she was OLTL's E.P. from 1994–96. During her tenure the Patrick (Thorsten Kaye) and Marty (Susan Haskell) romance was frontburner, as the exec reportedly pushed hard for the popular pairing. Since 2005, she has worked as a life coach. READ MORE
