Will Susan Lucci's and the Devious Maids finally make it to television? According to Deadline, the Marc Cherry and Eva Longoria project may not be dead in the water. The site is reporting Lifetime is currently eyeing the drama to be added to their roster. As of now the talks are in their early stages, but it seems Lifetime is interested in snagging shows that didn't make the cut at broadcast upfronts. If I hadn't already been a big fan of Bravo's Andy Cohen, tonight's installment of his talk show Watch What Happens Live definitely would have done the trick! Cohen had The Avengers star Mark Ruffalo and soap goddess Susan Lucci on as guests.
During the chatfest, Cohen shared his memory of writing Lucci a letter when he was 19. Shocker of shockers, the All My Children legend actually went to lunch with her fanboy and continued to run into him over the years, as he climbed his way to the top of the television heap. Speaking of TV execs, Cohen won the love of soap fans worldwide when he named Brian Frons "Jackhole of the Week," due to the former ABC Daytime chief's decision to cancel All My Children. Awesomeness!
